| The Celebrity-Inspired Anatomy of a Perfect Body Posted: 03 May 2013 10:45 AM PDT  This week, the Los Angeles Times reported there has been a 4,378% rise in the number of women seeking “upper arm-lifts” since 2000. While surgeons did not pinpoint a precise reason for the astronomic rise in the amount of women seeking this particular procedure it did note that women “are paying closer attention to the arms of female celebrities.” The most popular arms being those of the First Lady Michelle Obama. The concept of celebrity-inspired plastic surgery is not a new one. But this latest craze, coveting the arms of MObama, led us to wonder: what would the perfect celebrity body part Frankenstein look like? NoseThe rhinoplasty has long been a popular surgical procedure. But for inspiration, women looking to fix their noses are going to another nation’s figurehead: Kate Middleton. The queen-to-be’s nose is the top requested by women looking to tweak their noses. The New York Daily News even called the princess’ schnoz “spring’s hottest accessory.” And a New York-based surgeon told the paper that the procedure is so popular he keeps a dozen photographs of Middleton in the office for patients to look at during their consultation. EyesFor the eyes, it is Anne Hathaway‘s that are most often requested. Doctors say they have many patients coming in to request the “Anne Hathaw-eye.” No, just kidding, that’s something I just made up. LipsThere are plenty of celebrities with giant lips to covet, but for this one Scarlett Johansson comes out on top. Surgeons report women most often cite her lips as the ones they’d like to have. Injections used to plumpen lips are the second most popular minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure in America, after Botox injections, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. ChinIt’s Halle Berry‘s chin that women are clamoring for, apparently. Hers is the most requested chin/jawline in Hollywood. In fact, Hollywood is likely where most of those procedures are happening, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that 36% of all chin augmentations in the U.S. are performed in the western states. EyebrowsAfter years of thin eyebrows being trendy, women are letting their fill out, citing Megan Fox as an inspiration. In fact, many women who overplucked are paying $8,000 for surgery that transplants hair from your head to above your eyes. The only downside being, that hair continues to grow at the same rate leaving you with curtains over your eyes. HairIt may not be surgical, but celebrities’ hair has long influenced us. Recently, it’s Taylor Swift‘s hairstyle women are coveting. (A different Styles than the one Swift herself is coveting.) | ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Will Alex fight back? Posted: 03 May 2013 11:37 AM PDT  On this episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, one doctor is traumatized by her past, more than a few are trying to figure out where they stand romantically and a couple may end up in serious fist fight very soon. Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Thursday’s episode, “Do You Believe in Magic” Miranda’s (Chandra Wilson) continuing story was another favorite in this episode. I was curious what she was doing in that lab and when we realized that she was testing herself over and over again, I felt so bad for her. I thought – much like everyone seemed to on the staff – that she was still angry and that’s why she was staying away from everyone and refusing to talk. I was so happy when Richard called in her husband. Tough it did hurt to see her break down in Ben’s (Jason George) arms, I also felt like it was something that needed to happen. Hopefully, now that she’s admitted how she feels, Miranda can start to heal herself. The story with Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Ethan got even more complicated in this episode and I definitely had some moments where I thought for sure they were leading us toward Owen deciding to adopt the kid. Obviously Cristina felt the same way so I’m sure she was relieved when he said he wanted her. As for the other storylines, they were all pretty good but nothing that really caught my attention as much as the ones above. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) flirting with a new doctor was a little strange, but I’m waiting to see what happens there before making any judgments. April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson’s (Jesse Williams) friendship is still flip-flopping around so nothing new there. And as for the interesting cases of the week, the most interesting one had to be the lady cut in half by her magician husband. That’s one of those things that make me shiver just to think about it. Buzz Moments OMG!: Jo looking up at Alex and revealing her beaten face. Thank you, TV gods.: Miranda breaking down in her husband’s arms. I just felt like that was something she needed to do. Awk-ward: All the docs resorting to waiting outside of the bathroom for Miranda. Hotness: Alex in his hoodie. Just sayin’. Fab-u-lous: Zola in her princess gown and tiara, of course. How sweet was that? Can. Not. Wait.: To see Alex kick Jason’s ass. I don’t care if it’s wrong, I still want to see it. Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 8. Between Miranda breaking down and Jo showing up at Alex’s house with a black eye, this one had a lot of emotion in it for me to rate a fairly high score. What did you think of this episode? And according to Richie, it's Sparrow who's been living the rock star life . . . at home. "Joel, he performs and he does meet and greets and the whole thing and Sparrow's seen that so he likes to do shows for us," the Fashion Star mentor revealed on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Friday. "I actually work out of my house so everyone that works in the house, everybody has to go downstairs to the kitchen. | ‘American Idol’ Recap: The Three Stand Alone Posted: 03 May 2013 09:35 AM PDT  American Idol finally made the cut down to its Top 3 finalists on Thursday night, finally sending one of its four female finalists packing. With last week's surprise save, this week's competition was fierce for the four remaining females. Though the judges were tough on Angie Miller and Kree Harrison for their song choices, they were very proud of both turns by Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb – the two ladies who landed in the bottom last week. Guest mentor, Harry Connick Jr., took the stage to perform his single, "Every Man Should Know." Also on deck was Season 7 winner, David Cook, who performed his latest, "Laying Me Low." The show also featured a pre-recorded performance from will.i.Am. and his Great Gatsby themes song, "Bang Bang." With this week's weird theme of "Standards" and "2013 hits," the women had their work cut out from them. Wednesday's performance night was dreary overall and the judge's harsh critiques seemed to keep the morale low. Nicki Minaj said she's proud of all four women before the results come in. "You guys can go out there in the industry right now and rival any top artist in the game," she gushed. "I'm just happy America got the best four of the competition to the top four." When Ryan Seacrest called Kree Harrison to the chopping block, I was super surprised. The judges didn't love her take on "Stormy Weather," but her version of Carrie Underwood's, "I'll See You Again" was amazing. She's been a fan favorite all season and I'd be shocked to see her go. I have a feeling it's Amber's last night as her consistently strong performances have failed to resonate with voters all season. Jimmy Iovine said she "crushed" "My Funny Valentine" and the judges agreed with their standing ovation after her solo. Still, it wasn't enough to convince America to keep her around another week. Amber is going home. She smiles sweetly and nods when Ryan says Kree is safe. Amber sings Whitney Houston's "I Believe In You And Me" for her last song on the Idol stage and brings Mariah Carey to tears once again. Nickirefuses to let the waterworks run free. "No tears tonight. It's just the beginning of something great," she said. The three remaining women will pack their bags as well this week as they set out for their hometown visits. There, they will reunite with their friends and family and perform for fans who have been rooting for them all along. |

Her next project, however, is the indie flick Girl Most Likely which will have a limited release this July. The film, originally called Imogene, made its debut at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival where it was picked up by Lionsgate and renamed Girl Most Likely. Wiig plays a playwright who stages a suicide attempt to get back an ex-boyfriend. But the plan backfires when she’s released into the care of her former go-go dancer mother played by Annette Bening. Matt Dillon and Glee‘s Darren Criss co-star. In addition to starring, Wiig also serves as an executive producer on the film written by Michelle Morgan and directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. |

In this behind-the-scenes clip from Gosling's next picture, Only God Forgives, the Canadian actor listens closely as Nicholas Winding Refn compares violence to sex. "It's all about the buildup, it's like the climax itself . . . to make it dirty, you need interesting, never-seen-before violence," says Refn, who also directed Gosling in 2011′s Drive.

Both sisters are Style Ambassadors for Seventeen Magazine, have their own OPI nail polish collection, as well as a women's clothing line currently in stores. Needless to say, these sisters are no novices about giving fashion advice. Just back from their family vacation in Greece, Kylie, took to her Keek to answer some fashion questions from her fans. When asked "Nude lips, or lips that stand out?" Kylie replied: "It depends on what mood you're in." Although, the Sherri Hill model was wearing bold red lips at the time, she quickly explained the consequences of her color choice. "Nude lips aren't messy at all, lips that stand out are kind of hard to keep nice." However, Kendall has a different opinion. When asked, the Teen Vouge cover girl quickly responded by saying "Nude!"
