| 5 Things That Happened At Cannes This Week Posted: 24 May 2013 12:19 PM PDT  The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival is wrapping up, but before it officially comes to a close tomorrow we’re filling you in on what went down in the French Riviera this past week. Here are 5 things that you should check out: 1. Ryan Gosling broke our hearts when he didn’t show up for the premiere of his film, Only God Forgives. The people of the world were denied The Gos in a tux all because he was in the middle of shooting a movie. Perhaps he dodged a bullet? Only God Forgives was reportedly booed after its screening. 2. A Psy impersonator went to a bunch of parties and fooled everyone with his spot-on “Gangnam” style.
3. The red carpet got seriously sexy this week. It seemed like there were more models than actors walking the carpets. 4. On that note, there were a few wardrobe malfunctions. Eva Longoria and Rosario Dawson had the ‘oops’ moments this time. 5. Jessica Chastain ruled the red carpet like a Queen. Her deep purple Givenchy was our favorite look of the week.

| Someone Paid $1.5M (For Charity) to Fly to Space with Leonardo DiCaprio Posted: 24 May 2013 11:41 AM PDT  At some point in the near future, a non-famous person will get to sit beside famous person Leonardo DiCaprio as they board Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic for a trip to space. On Thursday, the seat was sold for $1.5 million at amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS charity gala during the Cannes Film Festival, according to Reuters. The winner will get to spend three days in training with DiCaprio in New Mexico before taking off on the commercial spaceflight, Sharon Stone announced on stage. "You don't get to go to outer space every day with a handsome movie star," she added. DiCaprio, who skipped the red carpet, was one of dozens of famous faces at the charity gala, held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc just east of Cannes. Janet Jackson, Zachary Quinto, Jessica Chastain and Goldie Hawn were also at the event, now in its 20th year. Two other tickets on the same flight, which could take off as early as 2014, were also auctioned off for $2.3 million. | |
| Sophia Bush, Johnny Wujek And More Have The #BestNightEver At CB’s ‘Clearly Chateau’ Party Posted: 24 May 2013 11:46 AM PDT  Last night, Celebuzz had a dandy little get-together with a few famous faces inside Chateau Marmont’s famous Bungalow 1. Celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek spun tunes while Mena Suvari, Taryn Manning, The Vampire Diaries‘ Arielle Kebbel and Sophia Bush checked out Clear scalp and hair therapy shampoo. Being the consummate professional that I am, I mosied on over to Manning and told her how often I still watch Crossroads. In fact, I took the dvd to London during my semester abroad. Manning, who stars in the Netflix original series Orange is the New Black (premierinng July 11th) was gracious as hell and allowed me to wax nostalgic about the flick (which, PS, was written by Shonda Rhimes). I tried to get a little scoop from Kebbel on TVD‘s season five, but her lips were sealed. She would only tell me that things get very interesting and, without saying a word, indicated that we’d be seeing more of Lexi. Kebbel assured me, though, that she won’t be appearing in the CW spin-off, The Originals. | |

"The fact that I don't live here makes me really sad. | Amanda Bynes Released Without Bail After Brief Court Appearance Posted: 24 May 2013 09:56 AM PDT  Amanda Bynes is again free. After spending a night in custody following her arrest in her New York City apartment, Bynes was released on her own recognizance — meaning she did not have to post a bail — after appearing in court Friday morning. The former Nickelodean star, 27, took the stand shortly after 11 a.m., still wearing the same platinum blonde wig, grey sweatpants and baggy black sweatshirt she had on Thursday night. According to PEOPLE, Bynes was represented by attorney Andrew Friedman, who told the Judge Neil Ross, of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, that his client claims the police illegally pursued her into her apartment. Bynes faces charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence, for allegedly throwing a bong from her Midtown highrise apartment’s 36th-floor window. Though the judge waived the bail, he warned Bynes that he would imposed a steep bail if she gets arrested again or fails to show up for her next court appearance. The actress is due back in court on July 9. Bynes’ latest legal woe comes after months of her hitting headlines for her increasingly bizarre behavior, raising eyebrows with her ever-changing appearance, erratic ways, odd Twitter chatter and topless photos. | |

| Mariah Carey’s GMA Appearance This Morning Was a #Beautiful Disaster Posted: 24 May 2013 09:18 AM PDT  Mariah Carey performed in Central Park this morning for Good Morning America‘s summer concert series. As they are wont to do when Mariah goes unscripted, things got messy. First Mariah suffered a sort of wardrobe malfunction when her dress popped open. Her reaction produced the instant classic, “I love you, Donatella, but it popped dahhhling.” This was all predicated by Mariah confusing the acts of “going to sleep” and “waking up,” which caused her to giggle so hard, she snapped the zipper on the back of her dress. However, Mariah’s reign of terror was not over. Thinking they’d narrowly escaped the astronomical FCC fine a bare breast on network television illicits, GMA‘s producers allowed themselves to relax, but it was too soon. Just about 10 minutes later, Mariah uttered “s**t” live on air after she nearly tripped taking her shoes off before performing her new song. You can watch that snafu here:

Gomez, 20, and Smith, 14, were spotted dining à deux at classy Cantonese eatery Hakkasan in London on Thursday night. Donning an all-black ensemble, the former Disney darling did her best to avoid being snapped by the paparazzi as she entered and exited the establishment. It’s not the first time Smith has taken in London with a lady friend. Just three months ago, he hit the town with Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kendall Jenner, spending an afternoon strolling the streets together and even grabbing dinner at world-renowned Japanese restaurant, Nobu. | Jon Stewart’s ‘Rosewater’ Gets Its Lead Actor Posted: 24 May 2013 07:04 AM PDT  This summer, Jon Stewart will take a three-month hiatus from hosting The Daily Show in order to film Rosewater, a passion project based on journalist Maziar Bahari’s memoir Then They Came For Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity and Survival. The film tells the story of Bahari, who traveled to Iran in 2009 to cover the nation’s elections. The election was widely believed to have been rigged and sparked protests throughout the nation. Bahari, who had left his pregnant fiancée at home, was imprisoned by the Iranian government for 118 days where he was violently interrogated. Now we know who the actor who will bring Bahari’s story to the big screen: Gael García Bernal. No other casting announcements have been made yet. Rosewater‘s script was adapted by Stewart and Aimee Malloy. It will be Stewart’s directorial debut. In Stewart’s absence, The Daily Show will be hosted by John Oliver. | |

| Amanda Bynes Arrested in NYC for Pot Possession, Throwing Bong Out Window Posted: 24 May 2013 09:37 AM PDT  Troubled actress Amanda Bynes was arrested in New York City on Thursday night, after police claimed she was caught throwing drug paraphernalia out the window of her Midtown highrise apartment. Officials say they received a complaint that the former child star was smoking marijuana in her building, rolling a joint right in the lobby. By the time officers arrived on the scene just before 8 p.m., Bynes had retreated to her 36th floor apartment. When Bynes opened her front door, police said it smelled “heavily” of marijuana and that they spotted a bong in the apartment, according to NBC New York. That’s when the actress reportedly snatched the smoking device and flung it out of her window. Bynes, 27, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana. Ahead of being handcuffed, the former Nickelodeon star — who was wearing a platinum blonde wig at the time of her arrest — grew agitated, according to TMZ, yelling at officers, “Don’t you know who I am?” Before being taken to Manhattan Central Booking for processing, where she supposedly spent the night, Bynes underwent a psychiatric evaluation at Roosevelt Hospital. She is expected to appear in court on Friday morning. Bynes has been hitting headlines in recent months for her increasingly bizarre behavior, raising eyebrows with her ever-changing appearance, erratic ways, odd Twitter chatter and topless photos. And this is not her only legal trouble as of late. Just two weeks ago, the actress pleaded no contest in California to a charge of driving on a suspended license, for which she was sentenced to three years summary probation. While Mia Farrow has not completely retired from acting, she remains most famous for her many roles in Woody Allen‘s films like Hannah and Her Sisters, The Purple Rose of Cairo and A Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy as well as her role in the classic Rosemary’s Baby. Now she’s on Twitter and she’s pretty great at it.
Farrow is very vocal on Twitter about the causes she cares deeply about, namely LGBTQ rights, gun control and the intersection of politics and poverty in Africa.

And in it, he sees little Kutchers. "His family has been asking him if he’s going to have kids because he’s getting older," a source told Celebuzz.
