| Amanda Bynes Sparks NYPD Investigation Into Sexual Harassment Claim Posted: 26 May 2013 11:13 AM PDT  The New York Police Department’s Internal Affairs Bureau is getting involved with the Amanda Bynes case. One day after Bynes posted a lengthy message on Twitter claiming that one of the officers who arrested her earlier this week had also sexually harassed her, an investigation has been launched. "As it would with any such allegation, regardless of its credibility, IAB is investigating it," NYPD chief spokesman Paul Browne confirmed to TMZ. On Saturday, Bynes, 27, advised her 1.2 million Twitter followers that "reports about me being arrested" were "all lies." She continued: " I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted, quite unlike any of the reports stated." The former Nickelodeon star was arrested on May 23 at her Manhattan apartment. She faces charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence. Bynes made a brief court appearance in New York City on Friday, before she was released without bail. Her next court date is July 9. Since her sexual harassment claim, Bynes has been active on Twitter, reposting links to articles about her arrest, correcting facts and reiterating her desire to have "extensive nose surgery." |

The world got another sighting of Shakira's five-month old son over Memorial Day weekend, as the mother-son duo shopped in West Hollywood, Calif. The Voice coach, who stepped out in her casual best, flaunting her amazing post-baby figure, was spotted carrying her little one out of baby store Bel Bambini as a body guard led them to their vehicle. But from the looks of a photo Shakira posted on Twitter after the shopping trip, little Milan played with DIY creations instead.

The dapper actor joined Cameron Diaz and Prince Albert II of Monaco in Monte Carlo for 2013 Monaco Grand Prix Party, hosted by TAG Heuer. DiCaprio, 38, skipped the tie and stayed casual in a dark grey suit while his Gangs of New York co-star stunned in a form-fitting white dress. Diaz, 40, recently flew in from New York City, where she's been hard at work with Kate Upton, Leslie Mann and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on the set of The Other Woman. The Monaco Grand Prix commenced on Sunday morning. |

The 30 seconds are just enough to get us even more pumped about the Zack Snyder reboot. Can it be June 14 already? So, let’s take a look at some of the best of the week, shall we? Shameless actress Emmy Rossum posted a poolside picture of herself enjoying the summer sun and captioned it simply as, “Summer is upon us.” No doubt Rossum is enjoying her summer break before the filming of season four of Shameless begins in September. On the other side of the pond, Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself, along with her mother Kris Jenner, enjoying their mother-daughter trip to Paris. Looks like Kim is trying to travel as much as possible before she goes into full time mom-mode. Instead of using the weekend to relax, some stars trekked out to the small town of Las Vegas, Nevada for the Billboard Music Awards (which honestly looks like one big party, so, so much for working instead of playing to celebrate the biggest stars in music). One of the attendees was Madonna, who posted a picture of herself backstage at the awards, showing off her risque fashion choice, yet again. The legendary singer made headlines for a similar outfit earlier this month at the Met Gala. If anyone can pull the pants-less look off, it’s the Material Girl. |
