The 20-year-old singer is co-directing the video for her latest single, “Made in the USA,” and she’s giving fans a sneak peek at the process in a newly released behind-the-scenes video. Demi’s co-director Ryan Pollata speaks Demi’s cinematic praises in the clip, saying, “Demi’s great. She’s just got so much energy, and she’s just the most down-to-earth person. She’s really great to collaborate with. She came into this with a really specific vision for the video.” Lovato explains how she got involved in the video’s directing process: “What happened was I came up with the treatment for the video. I saw the shots I that I wanted to do and everything. I told my manager and I kind of walked him through it, step-by-step. And he said, ‘why don’t you just direct it since you know what you want?’ and I’ve always wanted to direct so I was like, ‘OK, let’s do it!’ And that’s kind of how it happened.” Aimee Teegarden of Friday Nights Lights stars in the upcoming vid, which follows a young couple who meet at a carnival. | Hey Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Doesn’t Want To Listen To Your Music Posted: 28 Jun 2013 12:00 PM PDT  Justin Bieber doesn’t want to “Come & Get It.” According to a rider obtained by TMZ, the popstar is forbidding anyone from blasting any music from ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez during his photo shoots. His list of demands, which includes the usual suspects like “a large pack of Swedish Fish” and an “assortment of herbal teas,” also states that no one should approach him for autographs. “Do not speak to talent,” the rider specifically states. This is all coming from the guy who reportedly said that he always wants to remain friends with all his exes. “As long as people are kind to each other during a breakup, there is no reason they can’t be friends,” the 19-year-old said in an interview with Us Weekly, adding that he’d like to ”get married and start a family” while he’s still young. Bieber and Gomez, 20, split last fall but tried to reunite several times in the following months before calling it quits for good. In May, the pair were seen exchanging a friendly kiss backstage at the Billboard Music Awards – though their mutual friend Taylor Swift couldn’t hide her disgust. |

4. Oh, you want to talk trophies? Selena Gomez (and the Scene) won more awards then we can count. Since 2009, they have acquired four Poptastic Awards, six Teen Choice Awards, and their hit "Love You Like A Long Song" was nominated for Best Music Vdeo at the 2012 VMAs. (Not to mention, that song was certified double platinum!) Those are some major accomplishments for a group that’s only released two albums. Undoubtedly, Stars Dance will require Selena to build yet another shelf for the awards she’s sure to win.

| ‘You’re a Crook, Captain Hook’ To Officially Become the Song of the Summer Posted: 28 Jun 2013 08:29 AM PDT  Great news for fans of Arrested Development‘s always catchy original songs: the show’s composer David Schwartz says he’s working on releasing an official soundtrack. Schwartz tells TV Guide that the soundtrack will feature songs from all four seasons of the show, but he says he has not narrowed down which songs will be on the CD. “There are hundreds of pieces [that could wind up on the soundtrack], but I think I’ve cut it down to 40 or 50 so far,” Schwartz said. The soundtrack will be available on iTunes, though Schwartz does not say when AD fans can expect it to be released. | Kevin James Re-Lists His Florida Mega-Mansion For Nearly $20 Million Posted: 27 Jun 2013 10:52 PM PDT  Kevin James is selling all kinds of pricey properties lately. Over $25 million worth to be exact. And one thing’s for sure — James like his homes BIG. Maybe the silver screen funnyman was just sick of trekking back and forth his 26,000 square-foot home just to answer the front door… or maybe his newest real estate venture just wasn’t big enough for the larger-than-life comedian. But either way, the King of Queens star has decided to unload his Delray Beach, Florida Mediterranean manse for the next guy with even deeper pockets than his. After only eight months as the king of his own spectacular palace-like mansion, James has quietly put the massive beachfront abode back on the market June 22 for a whopping $19.95 million, according to Zillow — in the hopes of making a pretty penny (to the tune $1.45M) — seeing that he plunked down a mere $18.5M back in August 2012. AND on the opposite coast, James sold his Encino, Calif. estate on May 8 for $5.5 million after only one month on the market and an asking price of $5.495, according to property records. (He made a wise investment considering he bought the place 10 years ago for $3.2M.) Back in the Sunshine State, the lucky new owner will have to come ready to buy with a taste for the extravagant. The over 80,000 square-foot estate is literally a paradise by the sea, surrounded by palm trees, sprawling lawns and tropical gardens. And, of course, when you walk out of the ocean just steps away from your backyard, you’ll want to take the sea feel with you. So the resort-style property also boasts a sparkling saltwater pool and other things (only lots and lots) of money can buy, like a cabana with summer kitchen, fireplace, cabana bath, guest house, sport court, and even a loggia with fireplace that opens to the oceanside gardens. And that’s just the outside (where you can also park at least eight just as luxurious cars in the garage bay.) | Liev Schreiber Talks About Working With His ‘Dream Cast’ On ‘Ray Donovan’ Posted: 28 Jun 2013 06:41 AM PDT  Liev Schreiber is ready to take on a new acting challenge. Already a veteran on the silver screen, Schreiber’s latest role as a Hollywood “fixer” on the small screen is something new for audiences — and the actor alike. The impressive cast of Jon Voight, Elliot Gould, Eddie Marsan, and Paula Malcomson admitted that what hooked them to Showtime’s newest series Ray Donovan was the fact the the Golden Globe-nominated actor was taking over the leading role… and the feeling was mutual. “As soon as [writer] Ann [Biderman] and I started to talk about the cast and the kind of actors that we wanted to work with, I started to feel a lot better about doing the show,” Schreiber told Celebuzz at the Los Angeles premiere June 25. “I just thought I was in heaven. This is a cast of actors, a truly dream cast of people, that I really, really want to work with.” Even his wife Naomi Watts couldn’t hold back on giving the gritty cable series two thumbs up. “I’m super excited. I think it was great writing,” she told CB!. “A great role with duality, I think that’s a great character to work with for an actor.” Although Schrieber’s character is a pro at covering up the many sins of the rich and famous, off screen the only fixer necessary involves kids and playdates. “A nanny is the ultimate fixer,” Schreiber said with a laugh. Thursday night, however, he decided to check back in, skyping with temporary host John Oliver, beard and all. Stewart took some time to clear up some rumors Oliver had been spreading about him. First of all, he is not reenacting the plot of National Treasure. Second, he does not know the whereabouts of the currently missing NSA leaker Edward Snowden. He then turned his attention to praising Oliver, saying, “you’re doing a phenomenal job.” We miss you, Jon. |
| ‘Pitch Perfect’ Costars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin Are Dating Posted: 28 Jun 2013 05:44 AM PDT  Apparently, Anna Camp and Skylar Astin loved filming Pitch Perfect as much as I loved seeing it (twice!), because sources told US Weekly Thursday that the singing costars are now dating. According to the report, the newbie couple made their first appearance together on June 22 at the 3rd Annual 24 Hour Plays in Santa Monica, Calif. They’ve also been acting like teenagers and posting selfies on the Internet. Which is really all the proof you need. Camp, if you’ll remember, is still in the process of divorcing her husband of three years, Michael Mosley, who filed for divorce on April 23, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Pitch Perfect wound up being one of the surprise hits of last summer — so much so, it’s getting a sequel in 2015. Acamazing, indeed. |
| Alec Baldwin Launches Twitter Feud, Calls Journalist A Whole Bunch of Names Posted: 28 Jun 2013 12:04 PM PDT  Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin fired off a series of angry, let’s go ahead and say offensive, tweets on Thursday at a journalist for The Daily Mail who accused Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Thomas, of tweeting during James Gandolfini’s funeral. As anyone who uses Twitter knows, tweets can be scheduled or, gasp, sent out by someone, else at any time, so Baldwin probably had a point in all of this. (Which also might explain why the reporter’s name, George Stark, has since been removed from the Mail’s report.) It just happened to be coded with expletives and slurs and, well, ugh. Here were his worst offenses: “I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna f***…you…up.” (Sound familiar?) “If [sic] put my foot up your f****** ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much.” “My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this f****** trash.” Baldwin, who during his rant also revealed that, no shit, he fired his publicity team, has since deleted his account. | Channing Tatum Flexing Shirtless As A Teenage Boy Posted: 28 Jun 2013 12:49 AM PDT  Ladies, eat your heart out. Channing Tatum is flexing. Without a shirt. As a fresh-faced ninth grader. And it's obvious the future big screen hunk was a heartthrob-in-the-making. Just ask his (older) high school girlfriend. "He was just the guy who played sports, he was so cute,” said Lauren Greenbaum, who went to Gaither High School with her future famous ex-boyfriend in Tampa, Florida. “He used to write me love letters. It was 15-year-old stuff, you know. It was so sweet and kind of funny. Apparently Chan and I used to watch that cartoon, Bobby’s World, I totally forgot about that. "He lived down the street and all my friends made fun of me because he was a sophomore and I was a senior,” she added. “But then we broke up and that was that." Best friend Matt McQuay said if Tatum wasn't the jock talking football he was dreaming about Hollywood: "We were the hottest guys in school. All the ladies loved him. All the moms loved him. He was a handsome young man, funny and outgoing," McQuay told CB!. "He said 'let’s move to Cali to be actors and models.' We promised that whatever happened we’d take care of each other, he’d bring me and I’d bring him if we made it." The now 33-year-old new dad, who tied the knot with actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum in 2009, wasn't shy about his youthful ambitions to make it to the big screen. "I remember him sitting on my couch and saying, 'I’m gonna be famous,’” said Tampa Catholic football teammate and BFF Chris Medero. “He always wanted to be the best." And that meant even taking the parts no one else wanted. Fellow Tampa Catholic classmate Eric Chillura remembers hooking Tatum up with one of his first minor (but juicy) roles: "My agent called me for a project and I wasn’t 100 percent comfortable with the role. I had to kiss another guy," Chillura told CB!. "I think at the time it was my age and I just had too much pride. So I told my agent Channing would probably do it because he was more outgoing… and he took the job." But by then, he was already making a name for himself with the female Florida locals as a male stripper (which inspired the Tatum’s biggest hit to date, Magic Mike). "The ladies loved him," said Tampa Catholic grad and Tatum’s football co-captain, Kenneth Bell. "A lot of girls from our high school would go there with their moms just to see him perform." But he left all that behind with a little professional help along the way. Photographer Dianne Paulson with MPC Models discovered Tatum during a local runway show when he jumped on stage: "I saw this bleached blonde guy on the runway doing some wiggle wiggle moves, but he wasn’t one of the models,” Paulson said. It was her photographs that put the future action star in front of the camera for the first time. "All he knew how to do was jump on the walls and do back flips,” she told CB! with a laugh. “I had to tell him ‘put your face forward’, ‘head on’, ‘look at me with your eyes.’ He couldn’t even walk straight. I had to tell him to hold still!” By then, taking off his clothes for dollar bills was a thing of the past. "I always had the talk with him about doing it the right way,” she added. “I told him with the stripping thing you’ve got to be careful. I was worried so much for him. Mason Cook, who stars with Depp in Disney’s The Lone Ranger, told Celebuzz at the film’s world premiere that his co-star showed genuine interest in the well-being of the cast and crew, taking the time to make sure they’re well taken care of the moment he steps onto set. “He likes to make sure everything’s perfect for the scene, everything’s right and he looks out for you and I really appreciate that,” Cook said. And thanks to Depp’s hospitality, the 12-year-old had no problems getting into character during his scenes with the three-time Oscar nominee. “I, actually, surprisingly enough wasn’t nervous,” the young star told us. “It was the coolest thing ever. If I was asked to do a [another] movie with Johnny Depp there would be no way I would say no.” Also starring Armie Hammer as the titular character, The Lone Ranger opens July 3.
