After her apparent death in the fourth Fast & Furious film, Michelle Rodriguez‘s butt-kicking, tough-talking, car-racing chick is resurrected in the sixth installment of the illustrious, pedal-pushing franchise. And Rodriguez has her fans, who long petitioned for Letty’s return, much to thank for that. “I worked so hard to make her respectable and cool in the first one, and Vin backed me up so much on that,” she told Celebuzz‘s Cory Lopez of reprising the beloved role. “He fought so hard to maintain the integrity of ‘street’ in the franchise.” “[So] it’s really refreshing when the audience grabs that and says ‘Hey, that is cool. Bring it back,’” she explained. “I’m like ‘Are you kidding me? That’s so cool!’” And it was not just the lose of Letty that left fans yearning for more — it was her unfinished love story with Dom Torretto, Vin Diesel‘s surprisingly soft-hearted, street-racing fugitive. “It’s a contemporary, urban love story,” Rodriguez said. “If I try to think back at all the films from our generation, generation Y, all the late ’80s, ’90s movies, and I try to find that street love… there isn’t. Not with my skin color, not with Vin’s tone. You really don’t see a lot of that. They joined Princess Eugenie and her boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank and James Middleton and his new ladylove, Donna Air at Bruton House for a few libations. Middleton attended the society wedding of Verity Evetts and Christopher Buchanan on Saturday alongside James and her close friend, Tom Kingston. | Teen Choice Awards 2013: The Complete Nominations Posted: 22 May 2013 10:48 AM PDT  It’s that time again when surfboards become trophies as this year’s Teen Choice Awards nominations have been announced. For the 2013 ceremony, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 leads the pack with a total of seven nods, including recognition for its stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Posted: 22 May 2013 10:20 AM PDT  One week after The Great Gatsby opened the 66th Cannes Film Festival, Leonardo DiCaprio is still there. No, he doesn't have another movie to promote. In true Leo fashion, the 38-year-old bachelor has been partying with bevies of beautiful people. His latest outing — at the De Grisogono bash at Hotel Eden Roc on Tuesday — is turning heads for multiple reasons. For one, the actor (who looked ever so dapper in a suit jacket with hia hair slicked back), was surrounded by women throughout the night. They were probably models, judging from Leo's dating history. While he was partying the night away, his fellow Gatsby co-stars like BFF Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and director Baz Luhrmann hit the red carpet Down Under for the film's Sydney premiere. Leo wrote a note:

At least three of these events taks place every year with tea, cakes and a relaxed atmosphere inviting guests to mingle and walk the historic grounds. According to the British Monarchy’s site, garden parties have taken place at the palace since 1860. They are the monarch’s way of thanking those who have made public contributions in their communities. About 8,000 guests are invited to each party. Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pink Emilia Wickstead dress to greet guests at her very first garden party. Although HRH stuck with Wickstead this year, things have changed a bit in the last twelve months. Catherine wore a yellow silk coat by the English designer with a Jane Corbett fascinator, the same one worn to 2012′s Order of the Garter service. Despite being almost eight months pregnant, the Duchess put on her LK Bennett “Sledge” heels for a spin around the glorious outdoor setting. While the Duchess mingled with guests, feminist writer Joan Smith took a swipe at the 31-year-old royal. In her new book, The Public Woman, Smith dedicated an entire chapter to Catherine. ”By the age of 30, the new Duchess of Cambridge had done little since leaving university except play a supporting role to her boyfriend, marry him with great pomp and ceremony and get pregnant,” Smith wrote. “She had never really enjoyed an independent identity or income — even her clothes were paid for by her father-in-law — and didn't seem to aspire to either.” Smith went on to call the Duchess a Wag (an acronym for wives and girlfriends of British footballers). “Unambitious, uncontroversial and bland, Kate Middleton was Queen Wag in everything but name. It's all the more telling that the prime candidate, the woman who arguably deserved the title more than anyone, never appeared on lists of the country's leading contenders.” This comes just a few months after author Hilary Mantel criticized Catherine and other female members of the royal family.

| Helen Mirren Meets With Dying Boy in Character, After Queen Elizabeth Says No Posted: 22 May 2013 07:02 AM PDT  Ten-year-old Oliver Burton has been battling cancer for almost his entire life and was recently diagnosed with a terminal case of spine and bone marrow cancer. His one dying wish was to meet Queen Elizabeth II. Too busy looking at flowers and riding in amphibious cars, the Queen said no; that’s where Helen Mirren comes in. Mirren, who has won an Oscar and a Laurence Olivier Award for separate portrayals of the too-busy-for-dying-children Queen, paid for Oliver and his family to come to London’s Gielgud Theatre to see her play QE2 in The Audience. After the show, she invited Oliver backstage for tea. In character, Oliver and The Real Queen ate finger sandwiches and biscuits served by butlers alongside two corgis who play the Queen’s pets in the play. “She stayed in character for the whole thing,” Oliver’s father James Browne told the Daily Mail. ”Oliver thought she was the real Queen, and well, that’s good enough for us.” After tea, Mirren knighted Oliver, who has Downs Syndrome in addition to cancer, and instructed everyone to refer to him as sir. She also signed a British flag for the boy. “It was a pleasure and a privilege to meet such a brave young man,” Mirren told The Sun.

When the film — Gosling and Refn’s second collaboration, following 2011′s rave-reviewed Drive — hit the silver screen at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, Gosling’s baby blues were sadly no where in sight. “I can't believe that I'm not in Cannes with you,” Gosling wrote, apologizing for his agonizing absence from the famed fest. "I was hoping to be coming but I am in the third week of shooting my movie. I miss you all.” “Nicolas, my friend, we really are the same, simply in different worlds and I am sending you good vibrations. I’m with you all,” continued the note, leaving Gos lovers everywhere wishing they were on the receiving end of those “good vibrations.” After announcing he’s taking a break from acting (tear), Gosling, 32, has taken this talents behind the camera. Earlier this month, he began production on his directorial debut, How To Catch A Monster, a fantasy-thriller — which he penned himself — starring The Host's Saoirse Ronan, Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks and Gos’ real-life leading lady, Eva Mendes. His helm kept him from soaking up the Cannes spotlight for the second time in three years — he last popped by the French fest for Drive. Gosling’s absence leaves a hole — about the size of his bulging bicesp, we’d imagine — in Only God Forgive‘s publicity push ahead of its nationwide release on July 19. But more importantly, there’s a hole in our hearts: This means there will be no snaps of a suited-up Gos on the Croisette for us fans to drool over. How will we make it through? The newly-bankrupt credit card happy and sharp-tongued former catwalker has moved into a brand new 2,700 square foot pad thanks to her physician fiancé Dr. Robert Gerner, who plunked down the cash for a Zen-like retreat in the hills of 90210, Celebuzz has confirmed. The self-professed "world's first supermodel" closed on the pricey property in December 2012 and recently moved in amidst shocking financial woes. Just how bad? The New York Post reports “her unpaid taxes date back more than a decade, with more than $500,000 due to New York state, California and the IRS.” This also includes $8,000 in unpaid doctor bills to Michael Jackson's former dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein and visits to anti-aging doc Dr. Uzzi Reiss. But what's a little thing like money when you've got a wealthy fiancé to sweep you off your feet (and put a roof over your head). The completely renovated 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom abode is the first big joint purchase for these nearly-newlyweds and comes with stylish hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, romantic oversized fireplace and spa-like bathrooms. And the 58-year-old reality star will be able to channel that infamous angst into her tri-level meditation garden, where she's working on growing a green thumb. "It's wonderful. I'm a gardener now. I'm growing tomatoes and I have a vegetable garden," she told CB!. And she'll need to find all the Chi she can get. “I’m never going to recover from bankruptcy. If I have to file bankruptcy again, I will,” she admitted. But she insists she's working hard so she doesn't have to to go down that road again, adding that she’s in the middle of a new TV venture that she hopes will get catapult her out of her mound of debt. “It will never happen again. I’m smarter now going through this,” Dickinson said. “I’ve learned to make amends for my behavior. | ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Finale Recap: The Winner Is… Posted: 22 May 2013 03:12 AM PDT  After a stellar sixteenth season, Dancing With The Stars has crowned another champion. The ABC show's two-hour season finale was full of emotional moments from the top four finalists and featured plenty of crowd-pleasing performances from Pitbull, Wynona Judd and Idol alum, Jessica Sanchez. We also got to see the rest of the season 16 cast dust off their dancing shoes for another spin in the ballroom. All of the ousted contenders were there including Dorothy Hamill, who pulled out in week one due to a bad back injury. She joined the rest of the case in the show's opening number to Pitbull's "Don't Stop The Party." The encore selection goes To Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough for their ovation-earning freestyle. Once again, the barefoot country star took the floor and gave an effortlessly emotional performance. After hearing that votes cast on the network's website were thrown out due to a glitch, we get to hear the rundown for the rest of the night. Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli had their work cut out for them once again, as they still had one "instant dance" round to judge after we learned who was headed home first. While I figured we would see three women in the final round, it turned out Jacoby Jones took the lead over Aly Raisman, landing the gymnast in fourth place in the first hour. She took the surprising news in stride and said, "This has been the best experience of my life." For the next awesome dance break, we got to see Zendaya, Kellie and Aly lead a pack of pros in a killer routine to Beyonce's "Girls." Next, country legend and eliminated contestant, Wynona Judd, takes the stage to sing her version of "I Want To Know What Love Is." A few more time fillers followed including Lisa Vanderpump's return to the dance floor and a surprise appearance from Kristi Yamaguchi. Another standout comeback came from Andy Dick who revived his to Lady Gaga's, "Poker Face." After Pitbull and PSY perform, the remaining three contenders are forced to perform an instant dance for their final round of judging. Scores from this round were added to the teams' totals to determine a winner. Jacoby and his partner, Karina Smirnoff were first with a smoldering salsa routine.They were pulling out all the stops in a final attempt to snag the shiny mirror ball trophy. Despite a near run-in with a camera guy, the pair pulled off their final dance with ease and earns a perfect score. Kellie and Derek were next with their jive and again, it was flawless. Carrie Ann compared Kellie to Derek's sister, Julianne Hough and Len couldn't find enough complimentary comments to send her way. " I'm telling you, you're the bees knees, my mama's pajamas, my uncle's carbuncle," he said. "You're awesome!" Another perfect score from the panel keep the competition as fierce as ever. When Zendaya and her freshly stitched partner, Val Chemrovskiy, hit the floor for their final number, it was clear this competition was getting no easier to call. Their upbeat jive was so fun to watch and technically flawless as well. Like the two before them, this couple nabbed a perfect score from the panel as well. The sixteen-year-old sweetheart was sad to see the competition coming to an end and thanked her partner for helping her "grow up." Cute. After Jessica Sanchez sings Pitbull's, "Feel This Moment," it was time to roll in the results. As expected, Jacoby and Karina finished in third place and the football star says he has never been pushed as hard in his training as he has been on the show. Finally down to Kellie and Zendaya, the country singer was revealed as victorious over the Disney star. The blonde bombshell seemed shocked when she hears she's the winner. "Oh my gosh!
