| Posted: 10 May 2013 09:59 AM PDT  Hey guys! Happy Friday! Do you have any weekend plans? Mm, mmhmm. Yeah. That sounds really fun! Hashtag JELLZ! I wish I were [insert fun weekend activity like "going to the beach" or "planning a bank heist with my besties"] too! It would have been nice of you guys to include me in your plans, but I’m not angry. It’s OK. I forgive you. I’m really over it, so don’t worry. I mean, I have some pretty fun plans of my own, to be honest. Like sitting in my apartment, thinking back on the amazing events of the week over Before we all head out — you to the beach, me to the musty, ant-filled studio I call home — we should do something together to commemorate The Week That Was. So let me share with you a few of my favorite reader comments. We do this every Friday, and to be featured, it’s as easy as leaving comments on your favorite articles. The Degrassi alum tweeted, “I now pronounce us Mr. and Mrs. Beech! Ahhh! Xx” with an oh-so-adorbs pic of the low-key nuptials. Shenae’s dapper groom is model and musician Josh Beech. The hipster couple started dating last year and got engaged in December. We’re really happy for Shenae’s big day and all, but the most important 90210-related wedding of all time will always be Donna and David’s. D&D 4eva. |

| ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Did Alex Actually Do It? Posted: 10 May 2013 09:58 AM PDT  This week, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital batten down the hatches in preparation for a megastorm. Meanwhile, the storms happening inside the walls might be more damaging than those on the outside. *Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Thursday’s episode, “Readiness Is All.”* Okay folks, this is one of those episodes where I pretty much loved everything, so I’m going to just take each storyline in order of which ones I loved the most. Once again Alex and Jo get top billing for making us wonder who exactly retaliated on Jason and turned his brain into scrambled eggs. Not that I wouldn’t blame Alex if he’d done it, and we all know he would have done it if he’d had the chance, but I’m glad that it turned out that Jo was actually the one who took Jason down. It was a nice twist to not have Alex do it and it proved that Jo is a badass herself. I thought it was pretty smart of Alex to blackmail Jason into keeping everything a secret, but I will (reluctantly) admit that Derek had a point about that not necessarily being the right thing to do. I was all ready for Alex and Jo to kiss in the end, but that darn tree got in the way. I wonder if the moment is gone for now or if they can get that close again in the finale. On the baby front, we had Meredith waddling around just 3 weeks away from her due date, which of course means that everything in the hospital is instantly out to kill her. She narrowly escapes a possibly explosive O.R. (“I’ve been through something like this before, it didn’t end well.”) only to slip and fall on the steps. I have to admit that I figured it would be baby time right then and there, but they pulled a fast one on us and she turned out to be perfectly fine. I was practically jumping up and down with joy in the end when her water broke, but something tells me that the birth isn’t going to go as well as that fall down the stairs did. Did I call that whole thing with Owen and Ethan or what? I just knew that Owen was going to want to adopt Ethan and that whole chat between him and Meredith was beautiful. When it was over, I was all ready for him to tell Cristina he was taking the kid home and maybe even hoping that she’s suddenly be okay with it since Ethan was a boy and not a tiny little baby. But then the dad woke up and ruined Owen’s dreams and mine as well. Matthew’s proposal to April was beyond cute, but why do I have this sinking feeling that he’s going to die now? I guess I must be too used to this show and its propensity for breaking our hearts just when we start to like a character. Wait, actually I did think of a storyline that I didn’t like. The one with Arizona and Lauren actually made me angry. Though I’m mad at both of them, I have to say that Lauren gets more of my wrath. I will just never understand a person who flirts with someone else’s spouse. Plus, Arizona and Callie just got through a whole bunch of crap this year and now this woman is going to come in and make things bad for them again. Buzz Moments OMG!: Meredith falling down the stairs! Thank you, TV gods.: Finding out that Meredith and the baby were both okay after her fall. Awk-ward: Pretty much everything that came out of Brooks’ mouth in this episode. Hotness: Alex and Jo standing in front of the window when Alex was *this* close to telling Jo that he loved her. Fab-u-lous: Matthew’s proposal to April. That sweet and cool all at the same time. Can. Not. Wait.: To see Derek and Meredith’s baby being born. Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 9. Definitely a great episode with a ton of excitement and strong storylines from pretty much every character. |
| This is What Justin Bieber Looks Like as a Simpsons Character Posted: 10 May 2013 11:09 AM PDT  Springfield’s latest resident is none other than the swaggiest Canadian we know (sorry, Avril), Justin Bieber. The pop singer will make a cameo as himself on this Sunday’s episode of The Simpsons, and yesterday the star tweeted a pic of his animated likeness. What do you think?
For starters, he’s sporting his signature OG hairdo and not his current coif, something picky Beliebers might have something to say about. He’s also drawn in a snazzy jacket with random zippers all over it–definitely something the Biebs would rock, animated or not. Justin joins a long list of celebs like Katy Perry and the Olsen twins who have guest starred on the long-running series. Executive Producer Al Jean teased the role by saying, “He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him… Draw your own conclusions.” Hmm, wonder if he’ll do the Bartman. Bieber tweeted and later deleted about his Simpsons appearance last August. “Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!!” he wrote, adding the hashtag, “#swaggy.” If a Simpsons cameo isn’t straight-up swaggy, then we don’t know what is.

Posted: 10 May 2013 10:39 AM PDT  Farrah Abraham's first foray into public sex on camera was so impressive it captivated audiences around the world and made her a millionaire overnight — but the insider think tank at Vivid Entertainment’s deserves some of the credit for its success thanks to one of the more memorable titles in celebrity sex tape history. "We wanted to be fairly direct and let people know that this is what the movie contains and you know what you're getting when you pay your money for it," said Hirsch. "We started with 'Farrah Superstar' and from there we wanted to get into the subtitle exactly what this tape is about, ” he added. ” [A]nd we thought Backdoor Teen Mom said it all as tastefully as possible." Given that the tape was was watched by more than 2 million people in a 24-hour span ‘iconic’ might be a better adjective to describe it. But how does the title-naming process work? According to CB! sources, it's actually small group of elite porn connoisseurs at Vivid who put their boinking caps on to come up with the title. Two in the naming game — producer Shylar Cobi and actor-director Paul Thomas, added the source — including, of course, head honcho Hirsch and his sister Marci, who's VP of Production. The 28-year-old Twilight hunk broke things off with Aussie actress Sharni Vinson, his girlfriend of nearly two years, earlier this month, sources have confirmed to Us Weekly. Lutz, who first met Vinson, 29, through mutual friends, was previously linked to 90210's AnnaLynne McCord. News of the breakup comes just as Lutz is gearing up for what may be his biggest role since the Twilight films: playing Hercules. Hercules 3D, directed by Renny Harlin, begins production this month in Bulgaria. |

| Ke$ha Surprises No One With This Wild Outfit Posted: 10 May 2013 08:06 AM PDT  Can Ke$ha prove she’s the craziest kid of them all? She already has. But, bless her heart, that doesn’t stop her from trying. The hard-partying pop star took a crack at the title yet again by throwing on every item in her wacky wardrobe while shooting the music video for “Crazy Kids,” the third single off her Warrior album. What did that include? Well, a way-too-long list of mismatched styles: a pink bustier, a blue-and-white plaid button-down, a hoodie embroidered with a dollar sign, booty denim shorts with gold hearts patched on the back pockets, bow-adorned thigh-highs, and platform white sneakers. And that’s not even counting her hodgepodge of gold accessories — chains hanging from her hips and neck, chunky heart-shaped hoop earrings, oversize round glasses, and bracelets and rings for days. The cherry on top? Her multicolored cornrows. But even with all that going on, the getup is pretty predictable at this point. Really, would you expect any different from the girl who donned these fashions?

| Watch the Music Video for Mariah Carey’s New Song ‘#Beautiful’ Posted: 10 May 2013 07:45 AM PDT  The title of Mariah Carey’s “#Beautiful” may have gone to her head a little bit, as evident by the song’s just-released music video. Although it kicks off with Carey’s singing cohort, Miguel, the video inevitably becomes obsessed with cutting to close-up shots of Carey’s behind, legs and beyond, all while she seduces a motorcycle. There’s also a weird sequence in which Carey dances around in a romantically lit barn, which is basically what I imagine happened after the cameras stopped rolling for her episode of Cribs. So far, the song has been doing pretty well on the iTunes charts, though whether it will become Mariah’s 19th number-one hit remains to be seen. In the meantime, check out the video, above. |

| ‘August: Osage County’ Trailer: It’s Meryl Streep vs. Julia Roberts Posted: 10 May 2013 07:50 AM PDT  Later this year, Hollywood will release its own big, grand Hollywood version of August: Osage County, the critically acclaimed Broadway play that won a boatload of Tonys and the Pulitzer Prize in 2008. This version stars Meryl Streep as pill-popping matriarch Violet Weston, and Julia Roberts as her disgruntled daughter, Barbara. There’s also Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Cooper, Abigail Breslin, Juliette Lewis and a whole bunch of other famous faces, too. Basically, this is Broadway to The Butler‘s national tour. Whether the movie version will live up to the success of the play remains to be seen; Meryl already seems to be reaching high for an accent, which is never a great sign. Still, the movie is being backed by Harvey Weinstein, so at the very least, we’ll see it at the Globes. Watch the trailer, above. |

Now the mom-who-does-it-all is dishing to Celebuzz about her Mother’s Day plans (that always include cooking, of course), if baby No. 5 is in her future, and if she’s leaving all the drama in the past for season 5. Mother’s Day is coming up. Tell us what a typical Mother’s Day like at the Giudices. I am grateful to be a mother and Mother’s Day makes me feel so special. Every year my whole family gets together for a celebration. Joe, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana always surprise me with something. My favorite things are the drawings and handmade cards. Joe makes them with the girls and I look forward to them every year. What will you do this year? This year we will be doing a big family BBQ and I can’t wait. As you may have heard (and read) reports have run rampant that you and Joe want to expand the family. So can you tell us the truth and set the record straight — is baby No. 5 in your future? Joe always said he wanted a boy, but I have my hands full right now. Never say never! Your newest family-style recipes were recently highlighted on Plated.com. As someone who has been on the show from the beginning, are you sick of all the drama? What else do you want people to see other than the family and legal drama? I’m not going to complain because that would be insulting to people that are also dealing with bigger issues. We all have problems in life and I try to focus on the positive. I try to live in the moment now and not worry about the past or dwell on the future, just enjoy the moment and be grateful for what we have. Will we see a different Teresa next season? I think the show is different every season because we are all experiencing life, and the amazing thing about The Real Housewives of New Jersey is that it focuses on family. I think people are invested in our family and Caroline Manzo’s family because they know that even though we all fight hard, we also love hard. We are passionate people because our love is so strong. |

Women into Blithering Idiots Posted: 09 May 2013 03:36 PM PDT  Immediately after landing in America yesterday, real life royal person Prince Harry stopped by the U.S. Capitol. Was he greeted there by various dignitaries and elected officials? No he was not. Prince Harry was greeted by a crowd of screaming women, like a freaking One Direction concert. The only difference is, these women were not teenagers, but staffers in the Capitol, one of the nation’s most important and historical buildings. Come on, ladies, you’re better than this. You are some of the brightest, most talented women in the nation! You all went to college, many of you probably worked very hard to get post-graduate degrees from prestigious universities and you now all hold important jobs working for some of the nation’s most powerful people. What did Prince Harry ever do besides be born to the right parents and get naked at a party one time? Through all the commotion, it’s likely almost nothing got done at the Capitol yesterday. The good news is, that doesn’t seem to be much different from any other day. |
| ‘American Idol’ Results Recap: Who’s Heading To The Finale? Posted: 09 May 2013 09:29 PM PDT  Thursday night's episode of FOX’s American Idol was full of tension and turmoil as the last three ladies wonder who would be sent packing. Earlier in the day, the show had shared departure news when Randy Jackson announced he wouldn't return next season. The only original judge remaining will hang up his Idol hat after 12 seasons of service. “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures,” he said in a statement. The news came as a surprise to host, Ryan Seacrest, who alluded to the Dawg's departure without addressing it directly. With rumors swirling that the whole panel will be dismissed, the fate of the floundering show remained as uncertain as tonight's top three contenders’ destiny. After last night's three-round battle for a finale spot, Kree Harrison, Angie Miller and Candice Glover anxiously awaited the results. Each woman won a round according to Jimmy Iovine and all three boast big reasons to stay in the game. Candice has been consistent throughout the competition, delivering dynamic diva-worthy performances all season. Iovine seems certain she's staying put. "If she goes home, I’m going with her,” he said. Kree has been a front-runner from the start with spot-on pitch and her sweet, soulful sound. Meanwhile, Angie has proven she can carry any style song and serves up twice the passion at the piano. She's also the only one who hasn't been in the bottom. After Alicia Keys performed "Tears Always Win," at the piano, Mariah Carey debuted her new video for "Beautiful" featuring Miguel. Truth be told, I hate this song. But once Idol alum Lauren Alaina was done belting out "Barefoot And Buckwild," it's time for the real results. Candice was first to hear she's safe. There was no way this girl wasn't going to the finale. This is her year. Who will join her in the final round? Kree Harrison — and Angie was sent packing! After tearing up at her highlights reel, she sobbed through the end of her exit song, Colton Dixon's " Never Gone." It's too bad she waited until her final song to let loose with her emotions. She has had an impermeable cloak of perfection surrounding her all season and now she decided to drop the wall. Understandably surprised after last night's amazing set of stellar songs, Angie is shocked that her time is up. Although I think the country made the right choice, it's sad to see her go. She's done an amazing job this season and she really wanted to win. |

Almost one year since its initial projected release date, the first teaser trailer for director Alfonso Cuarón‘s Gravity has been released — and it’ll seriously make your head spin. Starring Oscar winners George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, the sci-fi flick centers around two astronauts who — after having their shuttle destroyed during a routine spacewalk — must find a way back home before they run out of oxygen and spiral out of control into the great unknown. In the sneak peek, Bullock is seen gasping and grasping for a safety harness as floats away from her spaceship. Will she crash and burn — both literally in the movie and figuratively at the box office? Only time will tell. The movie is slated to release Oct. 14. |
