| Amanda Bynes on NYC Arrest: ‘I Was Sexually Harassed By One of the Cops…’ Posted: 25 May 2013 12:26 PM PDT  Some 24 hours after appearing in a New York City court as she faces several charges related to an arrest at her Midtown apartment, Amanda Bynes has once again taken to Twitter to speak about the matter. On Saturday afternoon, the 27-year-old wrote the following:
The new message comes one day after the former Nickelodeon star appeared in court — in a blonde wig, baggy black sweatshirt and grey sweatpants — before Judge Neil Ross of the Criminal Court of the City of New York. Bynes was arrested on May 23 after she allegedly threw a bong from the 36th floor of her apartment. She faces charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence. On Friday, after Bynes was released without bail, she posted the following on Twitter:

Let's talk about Nicole Kidman. Since the beginning of the festival more than one week ago, the actress and Cannes jury member has been on nearly every best dressed list, thanks to gowns by Dior, Calvin Klein, L'wren and Valentino. Saturday's premiere of Roman Polanski's big screen adaptation of Venus in Fur was no different, as Kidman stopped red carpet traffic with a satin dress, complete with black and white ruffle detailing. | Bradley Cooper is Still Trying to Make the Ponytail Happen Posted: 25 May 2013 09:17 AM PDT  As far as fashion goes, Bradley Cooper's had a wavy week, to say the least. First he walked the red carpet in a burnt orange suit for the Los Angeles premiere of Hangover Part 3.
He went all natural with his hair and while it looked soft and luscious, it could've used a little product or styling. Next, he flew across the pond for the Hangover Part 3 premiere in London, where he won back some hearts with a dapper three-piece suit and his hair gelled back ever so lightly.
On Friday night, still in London, B-Coops decided it was time to bring the samurai ponytail back, as he hit the town with his buddy Michael Fassbender and Fassbender's lady friend. Cooper fans will recall that the actor last sported this look in the fall, when he was still filming the new Hangover film. "My character, Phil, has long hair, and it always goes in my face, so I just keep this," he told Esquire in its November 2012 issue. "Don't you get to a certain age where you try to live comfortably?" he continued. "I might look like some sort of elf or something, but my hair's not in my face and I can talk to you." Judging from the set pictures of Cooper's current project — David O. Russell's American Hustle — perhaps his latest hairstyle is purely related to work again. On Friday night, the 24-year-old star went all out for Electric Run Los Angeles, the 5K after-dark run/walk set to bright lights and electronic music. Hudgens, who played host to the festivities, which started at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., finished off her look with matching pink spandex pants and wristbands. "Rawwr. @electricrun whattup!" the Spring Breakers actress wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of herself at the event. Hudgens' next film, The Frozen Ground, is due in theaters later this summer. The thriller, based on the true story of a serial killer in Alaska in the 1980s, also stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and 50 Cent. |

| Celebuzz Hits The Set Of ‘Hit The Floor’ Posted: 24 May 2013 04:10 PM PDT  VH1 is burning up your television screen with its sexy new show Hit the Floor. The drama unveils the world behind basketball dancing teams and is the network’s second scripted series. In addition to starring some newcomers the cast features a few familiar faces. And Celebuzz caught up with the show’s stars in between takes of taping an intense dance scene. “What’s really strange is that two years before I found out about this audition I was a Laker girl for three months,” recalls the show’s female lead, Taylour Paige. The role of Asha is Paige’s first big-time gig. In fact, she was cast as the lead and shot the pilot for the show just two weeks before her college graduation. “I was literally on set studying for my philosophy final,” recalls Paige, “while I was also studying my lines. It was insane.” Hit the Floor begins with Asha wanting to audition to be a dancer for the fictional Los Angeles basketball team, the Devils. Her mother Sloane, played by John Q and For Colored Girls actress Kimberly Elise, tries to keep her from auditioning because she was once a Devils girl herself. “What I see is a mother who is fixated on her daughter,” says Elise, “and hovering over her daughter and then has to let that go.” And Asha is confronted with the dark side of the dance world rather quickly. Logan Browning plays the team’s head dancer, Jelena, and she doesn’t seem to like Asha trying to change the team’s dynamic. “[Jelena] has to be number one,” explains Browning, “if she’s not number one she doesn’t feel like she belongs. That’s why she’s driven to be the center of attention.” Browning certainly makes commanding attention on camera look easy but she admits that she had to work on her dance skills. “I really don’t have an extensive dance background.” Browning tells CB! that after shooting the pilot episode she took classes every day for a year to be able to dance with confidence on set. While most of the women on the show feel right at home in the dance world some of the show’s male leads are more than comfortable stepping into the basketball world. Former Superman actor on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Dean Cain, plays the role of the Devils’ basketball coach and with friends like the coach of the Dallas Cowboys and Magic Johnson Cain seems to know what he’s doing. “I’ve seen it all. I’ve seen everything that this character is living.” says Cain. “I’ve prepared my entire life to play this role.” Cain isn’t the only one with basketball chops. Hit the Floor‘s hunk McKinley Freeman played the sport as a kid and even played all throughout college, so the show’s slam dunks are second nature to Freeman. “We were shooting in Ontario and the crew call was 8:30AM,” say Freeman, “I got there at 7:30 so I could shoot in this arena all by myself. It was perfect.” Hit the Floor brings dance and basketball together to create a show that’s very different from VH1′a usual programming. And while we wait to see if fans will fall in love with the series we can definitely count on fierce dance scenes choreographed by Michael Rooney, who has choreographed for Kylie Minogue, Dancing with the Stars and the film 500 Days of Summer, (plus he’s the son of iconic Hollywood star Mickey Rooney). The former Nickelodeon star is referring to a mugshot taken on Friday morning following an arrest the night before. Bynes, who was released without bail, is facing charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence; she allegedly threw a bong from the 36th floor of a Midtown Manhattan apartment. Earlier this month, Bynes revealed that she had a nose job after In Touch "used a photo from years ago on their cover." | Posted: 24 May 2013 03:19 PM PDT  Over a decade ago, Vin Diesel sped into theaters with The Fast and The Furious, an action-filled film about street racing subculture. But when the franchise accelerated into another installment, Diesel stepped on the breaks. But now looking back, as Fast & Furious 6 earns early raves in theaters, the multihyphenate actor-producer-screenwriter regrets that decision. “I would’ve said, ‘Don’t walk away from it just because the script sucked in 2 Fast 2 Furious because there’s an obligation to the audience to fight, no matter what, to make that film as good as possible,’” Diesel told Celebuzz‘s Cory Lopez. “Just walking away doesn’t help that saga at all. I might have had a little bit more patience or belief in the long-term of it.” “But yet, we wouldn’t be here if I didn’t do that,” he continued. “That was a very important stage and a very important statement to the studio that I wouldn’t be involved with the franchise if it was simply a version of the old style of sequenced movies, where you make a new movie, which is the same as the old movie, you put the brand up there, and you sell it off the brand. I didn’t want to ever sell Fast & Furious off of the brand.” But after a brief break, Diesel got back in the driver’s seat with the third film, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. But this time, he got involved in the pre-production process. “I always wanted to sell Fast & Furious off the story, and the continuation of story. So you can see, before I produced it, one, two and three are all fragmented,” he explained. “And then once they asked me to do the cameo in Tokyo Drift, they said, ‘We know you’ve said no to all the scripts we’ve given you.’ Then they called my bluff and said, ‘Why don’t you produce the scripts?’ And I said, ‘OK. Let’s really produce them with some heart and some integrity in the continuing storyline.” It’s with that mindset that Diesel brought back Michelle Rodriguez‘s Letty Ortiz, who was assumed dead at the end of the fourthfilm. But after much petitioning from Fast fans, Rodriguez returns in the latest installment, giving Diesel a chance to re-team with a close confidant. “We have a very, very strong relationship,” he said of Rodriguez. “We’ve been friends for so long, and there’s so much trust. I usually invite her in to the writing phase — that’s how much I respect her creativity and her brain…. She’s dedicated in a real refreshing way, in a way that you don’t always see. | Jennifer Hudson To Judge ‘American Idol’? Posted: 24 May 2013 02:04 PM PDT  Did Jennifer Hudson secure a place on the American Idol judging panel? Reports are surfacing today that J.Hud might indeed be a part of singing competition’s 13th season. According to Vulture, the season 3 contestant and Oscar winning actress is already in talks with Fox regarding the position and is thisclose to a deal. Vulture initially reported that an all-alumni judging panel was in the works for the series and that season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson has been approached about a possible gig, as well. Randy Jackson recently confirmed that he will be exiting the show and the future of the rest of last season’s panel is on the table. An all-alum panel might just shake things up a bit.
