Though she’s stayed lips-sealed rumors that she’s split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus is speaking volumes by still stepping out with her 3.5 carat engagement ring. Almost a week after sporting her rock in Beverly Hills, the “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks” singer again flashed her bling, paired with two sparkling eternity bands, as she was snapped by paparazzi on Sunday. Donning denim, a grey T and a black leather vest, Cyrus was seen indulging her sweet tooth with a pal by grabbing cupfuls of frozen yogurt at Menchie’s in Studio City, Calif. Though the ring is on for now, speculation continues to swirl that there’s trouble in paradise for Cyrus, 22, and Hemsworth, 23. Back in March, the former Disney darling was spotted sans her engagement bauble at the same time that heartthrob Hemsworth had fled from Hollywood to his homeland Australia, sparking headlines that the wedding was off. But Hemsworth headed home, the engagement ring reappeared and all seemed right again. But then in early April, reports surfaced that the couple — who got engaged in June 2012 — had postponed their summer nuptials. Almost 10 months since confirming his split from his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp is spotted with The Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard around his arm — and packing on the PDA. The couple, who have yet to confirm or deny a relationship, were seen holding hands as they left The Rolling Stones’ backstage party at the Los Angeles’ Echoplex this weekend. Depp, 49, and Heard, 27, kept their head down low as they quietly exited the venue before driving away in the same car. Previously, Heard was linked to Tasya van Ree and French model Marie de Villepin. Meanwhile, Depp and Paradis had been in together since 1998 before calling it quits last June. They have two children together: Lily-Rose and Jack. |

| Kate Middleton Visits Naomi House During Children’s Hospice Week Posted: 29 Apr 2013 10:26 AM PDT  In honor of Children’s Hospice Week, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Naomi House in Winchester, England today to meet with terminally ill children and young adults. The center provides respite, emergency and bereavement care, something that is dear to Kate’s heart. The Duchess is patron of East Anglia Children’s Hospice, and released a video message in support of CHW. “She is a natural with the children, she will be a great mum, a great mum. I really mean that,” EACH chief executive Graham Butland told the Daily Mail. ”The way in which she has raised the profile of our charity is something we will be eternally grateful.” Kate, who wore a peach coat by Tara Jarmon with LK Bennett “Sledge” heels and a custom-made dress, joined a tea party with some of the children from Naomi’s House, and after was congratulated on her second wedding anniversary by Professor Khalid aziz, chairman of trustees at Naomi House. “It's especially special that you came here today because today is a very special day two years ago to the day, you were in a slightly larger building then this one – probably not having quite as much fun,” Professor Aziz told Her Royal Highness.” But you did it very well we were all totally enthralled. In addition to sharing memories of Mark Wahlberg, The Rock and Anthony Mackie eating cold cuts on on set to stay built and a strange tale about getting malaria in Mozambique and deciding to become an actress, Wilson also brought along an old photo of herself with The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg. The photo was taken several years ago when Wilson won a scholarship to come to New York City. While here, she saw a show Goldberg was in on Broadway and waited “two hours in the cold” to meet her and take a picture with the EGOT winner. Whoopi looks exactly the same, but Rebel’s hair certainly dates the hilarious photo. |

The Fashion Police star, currently in Australia, has clearly recovered from her nasty sunburn and is already back in her bikini. It’s been a difficult month for Osbourne. The writers for Fashion Police are currently on strike, demanding back wages, pension and health benefits. Osbourne’s father, Ozzy, recently opened up about his ongoing struggles with sobriety. The Black Sabbath rocker admit to having abused alcohol and prescription medication for the past year. To make matters worse, Osbourne tweeted yesterday about a loss in the family:

| Kate Middleton: From Here To Maternity Posted: 28 Apr 2013 07:53 PM PDT  Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrate their two-year anniversary. On April 29th, 2011, the former Kate Middleton of Berkshire, England married the second-in-line to the British throne at Westminster Abbey. 24 months later, they are expecting their first child, who – whether a boy or girl – will one day be sovereign. St. James’s Palace made the announcement on December 3rd while the Duchess was still in her first trimester, only because if the press got wind that HRH was admitted to hospital with acute morning sickness, speculation would ensue. On January 14th, the palace announced their Baby Cambridge is due in July. While in Scotland earlier this month, Kate gave the project manager of a Glasgow homeless shelter that a more specific date: “Mid-July,” she let slip. As of press time, Their Royal Highnesses have kept mum on the sex of the baby.

| NBA Star Jason Collins Says He’s Gay Posted: 29 Apr 2013 09:11 AM PDT  NBA player Jason Collins has revealed to the world that he is gay. The 34-year-old pro’s story is chronicled in a heartfelt and candid personal essay, published Monday morning by Sports Illustrated. “I didn’t set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport,” he writes. “But since I am, I’m happy to start the conversation. I wish I wasn’t the kid in the classroom raising his hand and saying, ‘I’m different.’ If I had my way, someone else would have already done this. Nobody has, which is why I’m raising my hand.” Collins, who said he first started thinking about coming out during the 2011 NBA lockout, continues:
He adds he will be marching with Kennedy in the 2013 parade on June 8. Collins, who was traded to the Washington Wizards in February, is the first active NBA player to reveal he is gay. Over the past few months, Bynes has fielded flak for her bizarre behavior, from her outlandish Tweets to her odd selfies. But no matter what shenanigans she brings, Snooki is standing by Bynes. "Even though that girl is off her rocker, she's being weird or whatever, who cares? She's comfortable with herself right now,” Snooki told Celebuzz of the former Nickelodeon star. “No, she's not working. Yes, she's just strolling around the city doing whatever she wants. But she's comfortable doing that. That's what she wants to do.” “This is why I love Amanda Bynes,” continued the MTV star, whose reality show Snooki & JWoww was just renewed for a third season. “She's independent, she doesn't take sh*t from anyone — and I don't [either], that's why I like her — and she's just being herself. | ‘Revenge’ Recap: Abortion/Abandonment Drama and Hacker Hoopla Posted: 29 Apr 2013 09:12 AM PDT  So much time has elapsed since ABC’s Revenge was last on-air with a new season two episode that when discussion around Padma (Dilshad Vadsaria) resumed in tonight’s “Identity,” I was like, “Her!?” I was hoping we had heard the last about her, when Nolan (Gabriel Mann) was so distraught she had “joined her father” and was then taken in for questioning regarding her case. But no. Just like how one head of The Initiative was lobbed off only for it to grow another, this is a story that just wouldn’t die (excuse the poor choice of words, please), either. So Emily (Emily VanCamp), Aiden (Barry Sloane), and Nolan set out to track down the Falcon’s true identity and get to the bottom of both of those things. Emily– and Revenge– may have gotten off-track but the success or failure of the mission within “Identity” would prove to be the marker for her mission in the future. Note: Spoilers ahead if you have yet to watch Sunday night’s “Identity.” There was no real time jump with “Identity” but for about twenty or so hours in which Nolan was held for questioning, Emily jumped back into bed with Daniel (Josh Bowman), and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) called upon the Falcon to fake abortion records for her first born son. But once the episode started in earnest, all of those things were shoved forward exponentially. Nolan was released but still licking his wounds, and in his grief, revealed himself to the Falcon through reprogramming some of her code. Yes, her. We’ll get to that in a minute. Daniel decided Emily choosing him over Aiden wasn’t enough, and he tried to throw Aiden under the bus at work, too, but unfortunately for him to whom he tried to throw Aiden under the bus was Aiden’s former boss, Mr. Takeda, and we all know where his true loyalties lie. And after Conrad first tried to demand Victoria reveal her childhood trauma at the hands of her stepfather that resulted in a teenage pregnancy on national television, the documents she gave him to shut him up were revealed as forgeries. It was not a good episode for most of these characters! Except Nolan. Because in Padma’s death, Nolan found strength. Having a real life, emotional, meaningful, loving connection with someone gave him something to fight for, and right now that’s taking down those responsible for her death, the Falcon and the Graysons. So he met with the Falcon at an old school arcade and made a deal based on his superior gaming skills to have her erase damaging information about him online. Of course, that was mostly a trap to draw her out in the world and get a look at her so Emily, who hid in a corner of the arcade and watched in a way that made me glad there were no kids there or the cops would have been called for stranger danger, had more leverage against the Graysons. It was ridiculous that the Falcon would actually show up in public to meet someone who ultimately hacked her, especially when she had already proven distrusting of everyone by using a voice disguiser when she talked to Victoria, a woman who already knew her real identity, on the phone. But it was just yet another imperfect detail we were supposed to overlook to push the plot along. It was also ridiculous that the Falcon would trust anything Nolan, a stranger, would give her to upload to her computer, and sure enough, when she set to work on making good on their deal, she uploaded software to her private computer that gave him remote access. You’d think a superior hacker like her would have firewalls for that! It’s sloppy details like this that make me hope she’s just some hacker minion and that the real Falcon is actually still shrouded in mystery and secret– and maybe even Victoria’s now-grown first born son. Conrad and Victoria sat down to do their Nightline interview, with the reporter being tipped to Victoria’s son just seconds before the camera were ready to roll. Conrad started to spin the lie, but at the last second, Victoria just couldn’t go through with it– she couldn’t deny a child, let alone that she gave him up for an art school scholarship. Gee, that panned out well for her. I have an original Grayson right next to my Matisse prints and custom Fazzino. While it was a shocking moment of emotion (and growth) from her, though, the rest of the piece on family was as fluffy as they come, including a sit down with Daniel and Emily full of completely canned quotes from the pretty boy. The reporter focused more on potential wedding bells in their future than anything else, forcing Emily to have to say she would be proud to be a part of the Grayson family while Daniel sat grinning like an idiot. Of course, this sent Emily scrambling to cover with Jack, trying to explain that it’s not as it appears without still giving away the real goods. But Jack was already wary of Emily after she got back together with Daniel, a man who is a part of the family responsible for Amanda’s demise, so this was the final straw, and he cut Emily out of his and Baby Carl’s life. Instead, Jack laid all his hopes on Ashley (Ashley Madekwe), with whom he teamed up to dig up dirt on the Graysons and make them pay, each with their own motives. Together they learned that Conrad is sneaking around with the Governor’s wife, which wasn’t as sordid sexually as it sounds in print but was still suspect because the Governor’s campaign was experiencing leaks all around. Clearly his wife and Conrad were in cahoots to get Conrad elected, though who the hell knows or cares why. Unfortunately for Jack, Ashley’s loyalties have always flip-flopped with a glimmer of any shiny jewelry catching the light. So she brought her proof of his cavorting to him, and he welcomed her back into his campaign. She accepted. Sure, he just wanted to keep an enemy close. And sure, she may just want to stay close to him to get info for Jack, but she may find that the power that comes with Grayson-adjacent real estate is too good to pass up. Who’s to say who’s really playing who there? Randomly, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) started out trying to be all about college this week– well, for about three-point-five seconds anyway when she was promising Declan (Connor Paolo) she’d help him with his entrance essays so they could attend Ivy League together. But then she turned back to her wild party girl ways, distracted by a social climbing prep school girl (Seychelle Gabriel) who claimed to want to understand Charlotte’s pain because her brother ODed on pills the previous year but who really seemed to want to push and pry about the celebrity behind being a Grayson. Everyone knows you’re famous by association when you hang out with the Graysons, and I really don’t even believe this girl had a brother, let alone one who ODed. I mean, honestly, Charlotte: do you not have one brain in your head? It was unnecessary to focus even for a bit on Charlotte because it just proved she really has nothing going on. The potential of some other Victoria offspring out there is so much more alluring, and we know nothing about him other than she named him Patrick. And considering Victoria went to Nolan at the end of the episode and asked him for help finding her long-lost son… let’s jut say the other Grayson kids should expect to take the backseat for the foreseeable future. The really far backseat– like in the car at a totally different stoplight. Buzz Moments OMG!: Charlotte is really starting to look, dress, sound, and carry herself like Victoria. It’s disconcerting, especially since she is claiming to want to distance herself, even taking her biological dad’s surname. Thank you, TV gods: It only took almost two full seasons but somebody (Aiden) finally verbalized that there’s no true peace with vengeance. Of course, this just makes the rest of the episodes to come more worrisome because it sets up a perpetual sense of emptiness for Emily. Awk-ward: Daniel needed to prove his manhood and his relationship so much he broke the news of the engagement (to everyone) during a live TV interview. But what was worse, he made Emily do the heavy lifting, even though it was all (uncomfortable) news to her. Hotness: Emily can keep fake-hooking up with Daniel all she wants because it not only proves brooding Aiden (hot) but also chances for Daniel to wander around shirtless in early mornings (hotter). Fab-u-lous: Little Vicky was just as selfish and cold-blooded as the Victoria Grayson she grew up to be. Often with characters so closed off, shows reach into their past to show a turning point or traumatic event to ‘explain’ why they became the way they did: they lost their innocence, faith in humanity, etc. But At sixteen, with a six month old baby she refused to acknowledge as her own in front of sophisticated strangers, Victoria was every bit the manipulative, queen of spin to put her image first we have always known her to be. Can. Not. Wait.: Where will we find not-so-young Patrick? Will he be calculating like his mother? Will he have achieved as much success? Will he already be someone in her life, lurking in the wings, watching from afar? Will he be yet another man to catch Emily’s eye!? | Helen Mirren Takes Home More Hardware at the Laurence Olivier Awards Posted: 29 Apr 2013 07:47 AM PDT  Helen Mirren took home another award for playing Queen Elizabeth II at last night’s Laurence Olivier Awards, the U.K.’s highest stage honor. Mirren won Best Actress in a Play for her performance in “The Audience,” she won an Academy Award playing QE2 in 2006 for The Queen. Mirren — the only known British actor who never appeared in any of the Harry Potter films — adds her first Olivier Award to an already crowded trophy case which includes an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, four Emmys, three Golden Globes, three SAG awards, two Best Actress Awards at the Cannes Film Festival and a partridge in a pear tree. On stage, Mirren joked that the 87-year-old queen whom she plays deserves the award, “for the most consistent and committed performance of the 20th century, and probably the 21st century.” “The Audience” is written by Peter Morgan, who also wrote The Queen, and chronicles behind-closed-door meetings between Elizabeth and British prime ministers throughout her reign including Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and David Cameron. Mirren’s co-star Richard McCabe won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Prime Minister Harold Wilson. Other big winners at last night’s awards include “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” — based on the Mark Haddon bestseller — which won Best New Play, Best Actor in a Play (Luke Treadway), Best Supporting Actress in a Play (Nicola Walker), Best Director (Marianne Elliott), Best Set Design, Best Lighting Design and Best Sound Design. | Join The Baby Cambridge Fundraiser Initiative, Supporting East Anglia Children’s Hospice Posted: 28 Apr 2013 09:52 AM PDT  Children’s Hospice Week kicked off in the UK yesterday, and the Duchess of Cambridge released a video message in support of the campaign to bring awareness and support to children with life-threatening conditions, as well as their families. East Anglia's Children's Hospices(EACH) in England is supporting families dealing with the challenges these detrimental conditions can bring. Ahead of the most highly-anticipated birth in recent history, five outstanding royal blogs have come together to raise funds for EACH as the “Baby Cambridge Fundraiser.” What Kate Wore, A Petite Princess, Duchess Kate, Kate Middleton Style and British Royals have collectively gathered donations from many of the brands Her Royal Highness has worn. A sampling of designers offering items includes Links of London, London Sole, Temperley London and more. Beginning April 29th through August 31st readers will be able to either win those highly coveted items in random drawings or through online auctions benefitting EACH. The fundraising project is carried out with the knowledge and approval of EACH. All the funds raised will be donated in recognition of the care they provide young patients and the support offered for family members of those children. East Anglia's Children's Hospices must raise $8.7 million from public donations to deliver services this year. This amounts to more than $23,000 a day, every day of the year. | Reese Witherspoon Is Officially Over That Whole Arrest Thing Posted: 29 Apr 2013 09:17 AM PDT  After laying low for about a week, Reese Witherspoon faced the music (or, in celebrity terms, the paparazzi) on Sunday for one of the first times since getting arrested in Atlanta for disorderly conduct. The bubbly Oscar winner was noticeably bubbly as she made her way through LAX — a stark contrast from everything described in that now-infamous police report. Witherspoon, 35, was arrested April 19 after her husband Jim Toth was pulled over and slapped with a DUI. She allegedly pulled the “Do you know my name?” card during the PR disaster, which obviously didn’t go over very well. She was scheduled to appear on TV last week to promote her new movie, Mud, but went into hiding, instead.

Remember when Princess Beatrice started waving to you from her chauffeured car wearing what looked like a toilet seat? Then she got out of the car and it was so much more than that? The design was a Philip Treacy creation crafted to look like a Disney discard. No, not really, but that’s what it looked like. Treacy later told the Observer that his royal client was unfairly bullied by fashion bloggers for wearing the hat. ”She is only 22 and there was a little bit of bullying going on. I didn’t give a f*** about 140,000 bloggers. In the future, we’ll look back and think she looked wild,” he said. Then there was her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, who looked equally as ridiculous in a Vivienne Westwood ensemble and a hat, also by Treacy. To her credit, Bea’s Valentino outfit looked gorgeous. And the fallopian-tube-pretzen-toilet-seat thingie was auctioned off on eBay, raising over $125,000 for charity. |
| The Kardashians Soak up the Island Life Posted: 29 Apr 2013 09:17 AM PDT  Sunbathing, sightseeing, snorkeling, seaside horseback rides and sunset dinners — it’s all in a day for the vacationing Kardashians. The reality TV royalty kept their Greek islands getaway rolling through the weekend, as they continued to film their hit E! series, Keeping up with the Kardashians. Kim Kardashian, 32, flaunted her blossoming baby bump in a bright-red frock as she joined sister Kourtney, 34, aboard a luxury yacht again, where they stole away time from the rest of the family point at fawning fans, snap photos of the scenery and pose for a few selfies. Back on shore, Khloe Kardashian, 28, hopped on horseback along with step dad Bruce Jenner and younger stepsisters Kylie, 15, and Kendall, 17, for some guided galloping on Sunday afternoon on the island of Mykonos. Then the group joined Brody Jenner, 29, to turn it up a notch on off-road ATVs. Come nightfall, the gang got all back together for a family dinner in Santorini, which the famous sisters shared for all to see on Instagram. “This is what blended families are all about!!” Khloe wrote. “Pure LOVE!! ❤ @kyliejenner @brodyjenner.”

| Tim Tebow Cut by New York Jets Posted: 29 Apr 2013 09:17 AM PDT  Miracle Worker Tim Tebow, whose much-hyped trade to the New York Jets resulted in just 72 offensive snaps, was officially cut from the team’s roster on Monday, head coach Rex Ryan confirmed in an “Ugh, let’s pretend this never happened” statement. “We have a great deal of respect for Tim Tebow,” Ryan said Monday. “Unfortunately, things did not work out the way we all had hoped. Tim is an extremely hard worker, evident by the shape he came back in this offseason. We wish him the best moving forward.” The writing had apparently been on the wall ever since the Jets drafted West Virginia’s Geno Smith last week. As for what will happen to Tebow, who somehow managed to take the Denver Broncos to the playoffs in 2012, some say he’ll have to switch positions completely if he wants to have a future in the NFL. If that doesn’t work out, there’s always Dancing With the Stars. |

But from one teen idol to another, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is giving Bieber a bit of important advice — by defending his shirtless ways. "When I was his age I had a little bit of a gut, so I couldn't take my shirt of and take Instagram pictures,” Carter told Celebuzz. “More credit to Bieber, go for it!” "I was really young at the time when we first started and going through my teenage years just having fun, being on stage, traveling the world and experiencing life in a whole different way than most people see it," added Carter. "My perspective is exciting — you can do whatever you want."
It’s been 20 years since we were all plastering our walls with The Backstreet Boys posters and memorabilia, but frontmen (Carter, A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Litrell) still got it — paving the way for Bieber, One Direction and The Wanted. After numerous chart-topping hits, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and even a documentary on the way, the Boys have a lot to celebrate after two decades in the biz… and, Dorough admits, a lot they may want to forget. "I spent more time in the mirror than my sister it was pretty sad," Dorough said of his primping past. "Looking back going, okay, Puerto Rican and part Irish right there they should've told me that I shouldn't have tried and grown out my hair that long.
