Tilda Swinton has long been a favorite of avant-garde designers and photographers alike due to her propensity for looking like a fashionable psychopath, in the best way. She does not disappoint in her cover-shoot for May’s W magazine. The 52-year-old actress is photographed at Las Pozas, a surreal state high in the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains of Mexico. For fans of the always-interesting Swinton the photos will not disappoint and neither will the accompanying article. “Being beautiful was never really something I associated with people I knew — certainly not girls,” she tells the magazine. “Boys, maybe. | Here Are Two More NSFW Trailers For Ryan Gosling’s New Movie ‘Only God Forgives’ Posted: 18 Apr 2013 11:20 AM PDT  Attention Ryan Gosling fans: it's your lucky day. Gosling enthusiasts around the world have been hit with not one, but two brand new trailers from the actor's upcoming film Only God Forgives. The international trailer (above) contains French subtitles, while the other sheds more light on the backstory behind what appears to be a very bloody movie. Both clips also have more lines from the Gos. On Wednesday, Radius-TWC unveiled a teaser poster from the Nicholas Winding Refn film, set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next month. | New Details Of Eddie Kaye Thomas’ Date From Hell Posted: 18 Apr 2013 11:34 AM PDT Maybe Finch should stick to older women like Stifler's mom. Actor Eddie Kaye Thomas picked-up a mystery blonde from Mel's Diner and took her back to his Hollywood Hills home. "It was hilarious, the poor guy was begging through a police bullhorn for the woman to leave. He kept pleading 'we are so concerned about you'," a neighbor told Celebuzz. The drama unfolded after a Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team raced to the house on Wednesday afternoon after the actor called 911 claiming the woman had wielded a knife and barricaded herself inside his house. The SWAT team and the star then got embroiled in a six hour stand-off with the woman as she refused to leave Thomas’ home. "It was like a scene from a comedy movie," added the neighbor. "She was totally crazy. She kept claiming that she was a musician and that she had a concert to get too later that night." "The woman claimed she knew Alice Cooper, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera, and she kept passing notes out to the police through a broken window. "She appeared to have cut her hand. At one point she seemed ready to come out but she suddenly then demanded some pizza! The SWAT team considered throwing gas canisters inside the $2 million property where Thomas has lived for the past three years, but they were worried that the property could catch fire. Around 7pm they decided to smash in through the front and back doors. The woman was then taken away in an ambulance. "It was a real nightmare for a lot of people living here because the whole road was blocked off," added the neighbor. "I've met Eddie a few times and he is a really quiet guy, he looked totally embarrassed about what happened, he definitely made a huge mistake taking that woman home, I don't know what he was thinking about." A spokesperson from Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the woman was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries before being booked on unspecified charges. The report is obviously fake, but it contains an almost Onion-esque level of meta-narrative, in which fiction speaks louder about the true nature of things than reality. Hathaway “wants to replace her faithful Labrador, Esmeralda, because the pup isn't hip enough for Hollywood!” the magazine exclaims. A source continues: “Anne really wants a 'stylish young puppy' she can play and interact with. She says she just can't bond with a dog that's half dead." In the song, Paisley laments he can’t wear a Confederate flag without offending people. Which, ha, duh. The song also features LL Cool J who at one point raps, “If you don’t judge my gold chains/I’ll forget the iron chains.” Seriously. | Finch Should Have Stuck With Stifler’s Mom Posted: 18 Apr 2013 07:41 AM PDT  Eddie Kaye Thomas‘ on-screen tryst is one of the more — er, only — memorable American Pie scenes (“Oh, Stifler’s mom!”). But his recent real-life one-night stand is not one he will want to remember. The actor — who seemingly slipped into oblivion after playing Paul Finch, who seduces the very Mrs. Robinson-like mother of pal Steve Stifler in the film about four friends who make a pact to lose their virginity before graduation — is again on a blip on the radar after he called the police when a hookup went way awry. A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team responded to Thomas’ home in Hollywood Hills, Calif., on Wednesday afternoon after a woman wielded a knife and barricaded herself inside the residence, authorities said according to the Los Angeles Times. Thomas, 32, had asked his as-of-yet unidentified house guest to bid adieu after spending the night with him. But it seems the woman — who he reportedly met at Mel’s Diner less than 24 hours before — wasn’t ready to say goodbye, as she pulled a knife and refused to leave the residence. The woman has also been accused of destroying property — including a phone and a guitar — at Thomas’ Hargrave Drive home. After arriving around 1 p.m., the SWAT team stayed on the scene throughout the afternoon in a standoff with the woman, who they urged to surrender. But in the end, according to TMZ, authorities resorted to tear gas to smoke her out of the residence. The woman was taken into police custody, checked out at a hospital, and eventually booked for felony vandalism. Now, let’s all be more wary of the morning after. |

He’s already starred in a major film franchise, The Karate Kid and recorded a song with Justin Bieber, “Never Say Never.” This summer, he’s co-headlining the expected blockbuster After Earth with father Will Smith. And now, a famous bestie to go with it. Though the two have been photographed together on several occasions, little Smith has never spoken about his relationship Kylie Jenner, until now. Interviewed for Wonderland magazine‘s May issue, he talks about it. "I was in LA, we were all hanging out,” Smith tells the magazine. “Then I went to New York and she came too, and then she came here and surprised me, so that's pretty baller. | Posted: 17 Apr 2013 09:59 PM PDT  Everyone simply knows Carlos Arredondo as the man in the cowboy hat who when the bombs exploded during the Boston Marathon on Monday, instead of running away from the devastation, he ran into it. And he saved lives. However, it's his new title as a hero that isn't lost on his family, including ex-wife Victoria Foley, with whom they had two sons, Alexander and Brian. They are the reasons Carlos was at the finish line that fateful day — and the reasons he saved so many people.
In 2004, Arredondo's son, Marine Lance Cpl. Alexander Arredondo died in battle in Najaf, Iraq. And seven years later his son Brian, 24, took his own life. Carlos was participating in the race to support an organization paying tribute to fallen soldiers.

He sees people in trouble and he helps them," she added, speaking of the now-iconic photograph of Carlos, complete with his cowboy hat, rushing a severely injured man in a wheelchair to safety — and becoming the face of all the brave men and women who came to the rescue.

Victoria says that natural instinct has been engrained in the 53-year-old since he was a young man who volunteered as a firefighter in Costa Rica. "It's just who he is," she said. But her thoughts also turn to her son. "My son Brian would have went with him that day. They went together every year.” "They invited me to run every year, but it's hard for me. But he's been very active and doesn't want people to forget them," Victoria said of her former husband, who she admits haven't been close since their divorce in 1996. "It's a commendable thing. Somebody had to have put him there for a reason."

"When I saw their father doing what he did, it made me more forgiving and appreciative. "I had a dream about my son Brian the night before the marathon. And I shed some tears because I missed him and he would have gone to the marathon. "And I said, I bet you Carlos is there. And when I came home and turned on the TV the first person I thought of was him.

I wanted to apologize and I had hoped I didn't miss my chance." And there is no doubt, Victoria says, that their sons were watching over him that afternoon. "God bless the man. When somebody does something good like that, it erases the bad things in the past. I know they'd be proud of their father,” she said. "My boys would have stood tall. They would have said 'that's my dad.'"

The wax figures of the chart-topping group’s five members — Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson — were launched at the world-famous waxworks museum, in London, England on Thursday. Of course, some starry-eyed Directioners were on hand to greet the singers’ wax figurines. Giddy girls swooned over the teen heartthrobs’ strikingly-lifelike likenesses, cozying up to the quintet and smacking their lips on Styles’ cheeks. Just like their real-life counterparts, the wax copycats will tour the globe as part of a traveling exhibit. After remaining on display at the London location until July 11, the figures will hop from New York (July 19 – Oct. 11) to Sydney (Oct. 24 – Jan. 28), with additional dates and locations still to be announced. "I'm just kind of a bit overwhelmed," Styles said last month of joining the wax museum’s comprehensive collection of famed figures. "We've been to Madame Tussauds and we've seen the kind of people who are in there. It's crazy to think that we will be up there with them." | At Least 5 People Killed In Huge Explosion At Texas Fertilizer Plant Posted: 18 Apr 2013 05:34 AM PDT  BREAKING NEWS: As many as 15 people are feared dead after a huge explosion erupted at a fertilizer plant in the town of West, Texas, late Wednesday evening. The blast, which injured at least 160 others, forced the small town, located about 20 miles north of Waco, to evacuate. “They are still getting injured folks out and they are evacuating people from their homes.
