Kimye Takes Paris

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 01:10 PM PDT

And the vacation continues for Kim Kardashian.

After spending the week relaxing under the Grecian sun with her famous family, the mom-to-be reunited with her boyfriend Kanye West in Paris, France Tuesday.

The expectant parents spent the day perusing the shelves of Givenchy, Ferragamo, Hermes, Celine and Lanvin before dining at L’Avenue.

Given West’s history of “swagging on” his ladylove, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star arrived back home with trunkful of pricey souvenirs.

The last time the duo was in the City of Love together, the 35-year-old dropped over $100,000 on Cartier bracelets for Kardashian.

Look: Kendall’s Personal Vacation Photos From Greece

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 12:08 PM PDT

The Kardashians took Greece this week and Kendall Jenner was busy as a bee snapping photos of her family’s vacation.

From yachting trips to dinners with a view, the starlet captured it all on her Instagram album, showing off just how the clan relaxes in style.

“It’s so beautiful. I’m so lucky to be here,” she gushed in a self-made video shared on her Twitter. “It’s so pretty.”

“We sailed all around here yesterday. It’s crazy.”

Besides gorgeous shots of the waterfront, fans can probably expect Jenner and the rest of her famous siblings to release a new music video documenting their trip — seeing how they basically film one whenever they go on vacation.

"Since we are on a family vacay…we need a new song to do a video to! Any ideas tweeps???" Kim Kardashian wrote on Twitter this weekend.

And now the world waits with baited breath.

For now, launch the gallery above for their personal vacation photos.

Pink and Joey Fatone Went on a Date to Friendly’s and the 90′s Just Collapsed on Itself

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 12:07 PM PDT

Pink appears on the June cover of Glamour talking about her now two-year-old daughter Willow, her husband and her lastest album The Truth About Love. Pink appears in the magazine in and around a car in a deserted island-themed photo shoot. In the accompanying interview, she reveals her biggest fears about motherhood and how she’s changed in the thirteen years since “There You Go.”

But for anyone who spent their adolescence rushing home from school to catch TRL, the interview’s highlight is when she talks about getting her start touring with 98 Degrees and *NSYNC.

Joey Fatonewas in love with me,” she says. “He took me to Friendly's on a date, and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad's permission.”

Seriously. Pink and Joey Fatone went on a date. To Friendly’s. And he asked her dad’s permission. If only that Friendly’s were in a mall’s food court. This is like the teen rebel’s Justin and Britney. They can have their matching denim outfits, Fatone and Pink are busy toilet papering the neighbor’s yard.

It’s wonderful to see Pink and her husband back together and happy, but if this doesn’t launch a million what if’s in your mind, you can’t truly call yourself a child of the 90′s.

Beyonce: I Had Five Minutes To Rehearse For ‘Standing On The Sun’

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 10:10 AM PDT

Unlike her week-long preparation for her Pepsi commercial, Beyonce only had moments to learn her moves for her H&M video shoot.

The fashion brand recently released behind-the-scenes footage from the 31-year-old’s beachside shoot, where Bey is seen practicing her routine on the beach as camera crew set up equipment around her.

“Now I have to learn choreography in five minutes,” Bey says in the clip.

“Beyonce hasn’t really got a chance to rehearse as much as she would like to,” Frank Gatson, the co-choreographer of the routine, adds. “She has a lot on her plate but we’ll get it done.”

But as we’ve previously saw in the full commercial, Bey — and her bikini bod — clearly killed it.

As with the commercial Mrs. Jay-Z recently shot for Pepsi, this latest campaign spot features new music from the mom-of-one.

Learn the lyrics to “Standing on the Sun” at Directlyrics because — let’s face it — it’s going to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan Show Off Their Soccer Skills in Paris

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 11:12 AM PDT

One Direction

Niall Horan and a tattoo-happy Louis Tomlinson, who make up two-fifths of the boy band One Direction, were photographed kicking around a soccer ball on Monday before their big concert in Paris.

That’s pretty much all you need to know. (You Directioners probably clicked on this gallery as soon as you read “Niall.”)

But just in case photos aren’t your thing, you may also want to check out this video of Horan dancing in a parking lot. That should be plenty enough to get you through the rest of your Tuesday.

Which Late-’90s Boy Band Did You Worship?

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 10:32 AM PDT

Ah, the late-’90s-slash-early-’00s. Bubblegum pop reigned supreme. These were the years of Britney, Christina, The Spice Girls — and, to a lesser extent, Jessica Simpson, Ricky Martin, and Mandy Moore. And then there were the larger-than-life boy bands: The Backstreet Boys, N Sync, and, sure, we’ll throw 98 Degrees in there for good measure.

Now we have The Wanted and One Direction, but somehow it doesn’t feel the same. (I’m sure this has nothing to do with the fact that I’ve aged what feels like 196 years, though it’s actually only 15.)

For nostalgia’s sake, tell Celebuzz who your favorite late ’90s boy band is by voting in the poll below. After you’ve voted, if you want to continue reliving the magic of this era, simply watch ‘N Sync’s Chili’s commercial.

Some fun facts about each boy band:

Yes, ‘N Sync sold more than 50 million albums, and No Strings Attached still holds the record for biggest first-week sales, but the world is most grateful to the band for giving us Justin Timberlake.

The Backstreet Boys are the best-selling boy band of all time, with more than 130 million records sold. Unlike ‘N Sync, the group is still recording music, which is great news for those of us who like hearing new material performed live on cruise ships.

98 Degrees sold more than 10 million albums in just four years. Like The Backstreet Boys, the boys reunited after a hiatus and are currently gearing up to release new music. They will soon tour with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men. #NeverForget Nick Lachey’s marriage to Jessica Simpson and their MTV reality show.

You may vote once a day until Monday, May 6, at which time we will announce the winner. May the best boy band win!

A ‘Huge Weight Has Been Lifted’: Jason Collins Opens Up About Coming Out

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 09:18 AM PDT

Just one day after his historic announcement, National Basketball Association free agent Jason Collins sat down with Good Morning America‘s George Stephanopoulos to talk about being the first openly gay player in a major team sport. The two talked about Collins’ long road that lead him to where he is, his decision to come out publicly and his new de facto charge as a role model to an entire community.

Asked about being the first, Collins said it was “kind of mind-boggling” that no one has come forward before him.

“I never set out to be the first,” Collins told Stephanopoulos. “Obviously you’re sort of waiting around for somebody else to, you know, raise their hand.”

The two also talked about stereotypes and changing people’s opinions about gay people. Collins, who has played in the NBA for 12 seasons, has more than 2,000 career personal fouls.

“You know what, I think that people like me are trying to rewrite that stereotype,” Collins said.

You can watch the full interview with Collins here.

Sofia Vergara: ‘I Love Making Money’

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 08:34 AM PDT

Sofia Vergara covers 'Cosmopolitan'

Sofia Vergara isn’t going to sugarcoat it — she likes cashing in.

Ever since the Latin American star launched her fame stateside, she has been raking it in with her starring role as the side-splittingly feisty Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on hit sitcom Modern Family.

But even beyond the small screen, Vergara has parlayed her now-boldfaced name into even more dollar signs, landing movie parts, promotional spots for brands like Pepsi, and even her own clothing line at Kmart.

Though she’s now engaged to fiancĂ© Nick Loeb and is considering having another child — she already has son Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, 20 — Vergara won’t be pumping the breaks on her still-blossoming career anytime soon.

“I’ve never had a plan for anything,” Vergara told the June issue of Cosmopolitan. “I know I’m not going to get any more shows like Modern Family. If it ends in five years, it would be great to do movies and focus on things like my Kmart line. Maybe have a kid. But I am going to be working my whole life. I love making money. I really love it!”

In the meantime, Vergara isn’t rushing to the altar with Loeb, who popped the question during her birthday getaway to Mexico last July. But when they do finally say “I do,” it won’t be a big to-do.

“He was already married with a big wedding and I was already married with a big wedding, so we’re going to something but not right now,” she explained. “When he proposed, it was my birthday, and I’d flown more than 100 family and friends to Mexico for six days of partying. It took me forever to arrange the logistics! If I had known I was going to get engaged, I don’t do this stupid birthday.”

As she takes “advantage of my 15 minutes,” Vergara is postponing baby plans. But if she ever decides to become a mom a second time over, she won’t be going the au naturel route.

“I froze my eggs. I had to go to my doctor’s office a hundred million times to do injections,” she said. “My doctor had told me ‘We have a small window.’ I said, ‘That’s so rude!’ I already have a kid, so I never thought I would need to do that. But I will have to use a surrogate, because I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation. I don’t want to wait forever, but not yet, because I’m working like an animal.”

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Recap: Who Lit Up Latin Night?

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 09:24 AM PDT

Dancing With The Stars celebrated Latin Night on Monday with the six remaining couples sizzling and swiveling their way toward the final. The ABC show threw competitors another twist this week: a second round that awarded three couples bonus points from the judges.

Cutting right to the chase, Kellie Pickler stole the show again. This girl puts every other celebrity to shame this season, including standouts Aly Raisman and Zendaya. Despite the fact that she had three concerts this week, she and Derek Hough killed the competition with their sizzling samba routine. She dances like a pro and her killer body makes it difficult to tell that she's just an amateur.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she lacked "feeling," but said she "saw perfection in every single move." Len Goodman agreed, calling it "crisp, clean, hot and spicy." Their score of 29 is the night's best raw score, but after the second round's bonus points, they don't stay in the lead.

Aly had a difficult week as well after she injured her partner's back during rehearsals. After a trip to the doctor, her partner Mark Ballas said he would have to sit this week out and provided a pro stand in for her to practice with. The crowd is stunned to see Mark on the dance floor when the music starts. Guess he pulled through just in time. Their salsa was sexy and fun, and the gymnast finally seemed to loosen up. The judges loved the routine and gave her a high score of 29.

While Zendaya is obviously a beautiful dancer, something was off about her performance tonight. Her paso doble with partner Val Chmerkovskiy seemed too intense. She came off as a scary gothic queen instead of her usual fun, innocent flair. Her long, lanky limbs seemed more creepy than elegant. She earns a respectable score of 27 and stays in the game with ease. She's not going anywhere.

Professional athlete Jacoby Jones took a day off due to sore muscles this week. Still, he managed to man up in time to deliver a strong salsa routine with pro partner, Karina Smirnoff. Judges were delighted by his sexy moves and praised the tatted up star on his hip action and flavor. “You could fart the salsa," said Carrie Ann. "You just have it in your body … You get down and dirty.” They score a 27 and are likely safe for another week.

Andy Dick wasn't so lucky this week. Although I loved his entertaining attempt at the rumba, the judges weren't buying it. All three of them pounded Andy's moves from the panel and this time, they were right. Bruno Tonioli said he was just "hoping for the best," and Len said his movements were "more erratic than erotic." The comedian looks so somber while receiving his critiques, it's clear he's worried this week. Me too. His low score of 17 will almost certainly land him on the bottom.

Happy 25th Anniversary, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson!

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 05:36 AM PDT

There is no doubt: Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson continue to defy Hollywood tradition.

In these days of months-long marriages, their great love story continues to stand the test of time, as today marks a quarter century since Hanks and Wilson said “I do” back in April 30, 1988.

The pair first met on set of Hank’s short-lived cult sitcom Bosom Buddies in 1981, when Wilson guest starred as his costar Peter Scolari's girlfriend. While Wilson immediately sparked something inside Hanks, it wasn’t until sharing the screen in the 1985 Peace Corps comedy Volunteers that a bond blossomed, even though he was still married — albeit unhappily — to his college sweetheart, actress Samantha Lewes.

But after Hanks and Lewes divorced in 1987, Hanks and Wilson fell into each other’s arms and their fairytale romance begin, flourishing into a marriage in just a year’s time.

Now 25 years have passed, and Hanks and Wilson still soar beyond Hollywood stereotype. While they aren’t the only pair to have beaten the marriage odds — Meryl Streep and Don Gummer, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and others are still going strong after several decades — there is just that je ne sais quoi in Hanks and Wilson’s blissful happily ever after.

So what better way to honor their silver anniversary than in their own words about their marriage? After all, Hanks always leaves hopeless romantics everywhere reaching for the Klenex with his heartfelt acceptances speeches about his wife.

Scroll through the gallery above for the he said, she said of Hanks and Wilson’s blessed union. Then share your warm and fuzzy feelings — trust, these quotes will leave you feeling dreamy — in the comments, below.

New Season of ‘Arrested Development’ Premieres in Los Angeles

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 08:09 AM PDT

It’s been seven years in the making, but last night the Bluth family was finally back together again. The cast of the much beloved show which includes Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, David Cross, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat walked the orange carpet at the TCL Chinese Theater for the premiere of the show’s new season, which premieres on Netflix May 26.

The show joins finds the Bluth family seven years after we last saw them in the season three finale which aired in 2006. The Bluths have all split up and “time has not been kind” to any of them. “So we’re all kind of a little banged up,” Bateman, who plays Michael Bluth, said.

Everyone in the cast reiterated how excited they were for the show’s return.

De Rossi said of the reunion: “such a relief. It’s so exciting. I’ve been waiting for a long, long time.”

“Seven years in the waiting, as they say,” said Walter, who plays the cold and calculating Bluth matriarch Lucille. Calling the first day shooting “emotional, for me,” Walter added: “I care about this show a lot. It meant a lot for me in my career.”

The entire fourth season, which consists of 15 episodes, will be made available to stream on Netflix next month. In addition to the show’s full original cast, many new actors will appear in the show’s long-awaited fourth season including Kristen Wiig, John Krasinski, John Slattery, Conan O’Brien, Seth Rogen and Isla Fisher.

As for the rumors about an Arrested Development movie to follow season four, the cast played coy.

“If there is a movie, I think we’ve kind of caught the audience up from 2006 to 2012. I think that was the purpose of this series,” said de Rossi. “And now by the end of this series we’ll be in current time. That’s all I know.”

Courtney Stodden Wore A Very Mini Minidress to The Ivy

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 07:43 AM PDT

Courtney Stodden, America’s favorite teen bride, had lunch at The Ivy with her 52-year-old husband Doug Hutchison this week.

The 18-year-old Internet star wore what one typically wears to The Ivy: a super-short leopard minidress and her now-signature sky-high heels. Hutchison, meanwhile, was typically appropriate in a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

As for the conversation they had over lunch, well, that’s just something you’ll have to imagine for yourselves.

‘Vanity Fair’ Takes a Lens to Brad Pitt’s Latest Project, ‘WWZ’

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 07:06 AM PDT

Brad Pitt covers 'Vanity Fair'

It’s been a bumpy road to the big screen for Brad Pitt‘s World War Z.

After being plagued by production problems, a pushed-back release date and plenty of reshoots, the apocalyptic action flick adapted from Max Brooks’ novel is finally set for release on June 21.

But before moviegoers get to see Pitt as United Nations researcher Gerry Lane racing against time to try to save humanity — including his wife Karen Lane (Mireille Enos) and their two daughters — from the zombie takeover, Vanity Fair is pulling back the curtain on the trials and tribulations the film faced on its way to theaters.

“‘We started shooting the thing before we locked down how it was going to end up, and it didn't turn out the way we wanted it to,’” screenwriter Damon Lindelof says Pitt explained of World War Z. “‘The thing we really need right now,’” Pitt told Lindelof, “‘is someone who is not burdened by all the history that this thing is inheriting, who can see what we've got and tell us how to get to where we need to get.”

That discussion ultimately led to the decision to rewrite and reshoot an additional 40 minutes of footage in an effort to form a more fitting ending, a move that skyrocketed WWZ‘s budget to around $200 million.

"I was like,” Lindelof added, “‘To be honest with you, good luck selling that to Paramount.’”

Catch the action-packed trailer for Pitt’s upcoming thriller. After the lengthy weight, will you go see World War Z in theaters?

NHL Playoffs 2013: Here’s Who Hollywood Is Rooting For

Posted: 26 Apr 2013 04:32 PM PDT

Dearest hockey fans in Canada, USA and beyond, it's officially day one of the 2013 National Hockey League playoffs.

Some of Hollywood's finest have surely secured their VIP seats for teams like the New York Rangers (Spike Lee), the Vancouver Canucks (Cory Monteith, Cobie Smulders) and the Chicago Blackhawks (Vince Vaughn), teams that will vie for Lord Stanley's Cup this year.

The Los Angeles Kings, who had a fairly strong regular season, will no doubt get the loudest cheer from Tinseltown during the playoffs. In Celebuzz's round up of famous hockey fans, more than half of the stars featured are Kings fans. This ever-expanding group includes the likes of Jason Bateman, Will Ferrell, Alyssa Milano, Katy Perry and Matthew Perry.

Unfortunately for Carrie Underwood and her hockey player husband Mike Fisher, the Nashville Predators will be sitting this one out — the Preds finished near dead last in the Western Conference.

To see which teams the stars are cheering for this postseason, launch the gallery, above. Then tell us, who do you think will win the Stanley Cup this year?

Here’s Who Didn’t Get a Tony Nomination This Morning

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 07:07 AM PDT

This morning’s Tony nominations were kind of weird. Weird in the sense that a lot of the expected big names were ignored for the star of that Kathie Lee Gifford musical.

To be fair, though, the Tony nominations are often weird. Some years, they go for Hollywood stars; other years, they honor industry veterans who slaved for decades before they finally made it on the Great White Way.

That was kind of what happened this year. Which is great news for the Broadway community (you get that Tony, Amy Morton!), but probably bad news for the CBS execs who were hoping for a star-studded lineup. Hey, you can always get Katie Holmes to present!

Below, check out the notable names who won’t be up for a Tony this year.

Alec Baldwin in Orphans

Bette Midler in I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers

Jessica Chastain in The Heiress

Bobby Cannavale in The Big Knife

Lilla Crawford in Annie

Alan Cumming in Macbeth

Scarlett Johansson in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Katie Holmes in Dead Accounts

Vanessa Williams in The Trip to Bountiful

Sigourney Weaver in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

Oh, Bette. You’ll always have Rochelle, Rochelle.

Reese Witherspoon Is Back in Atlanta

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 05:58 AM PDT

Reese Witherspoon on Monday returned to Atlanta, the city where she was arrested April 19 for disorderly conduct, to continue shooting scenes for her upcoming movie The Good Lie.

The 37-year-old Oscar winner looked ready to put that whole mess behind her as filming got underway at Atlanta International Airport.

In other words: Yeah, this story is kind of over.

Ageless Beauty: 15 Stars Who Take The Fear Out Of Getting Older

Posted: 29 Apr 2013 01:40 PM PDT

Unless you’re that nice bottle of red wine I have sitting in my cupboard, the idea of getting older probably isn’t something you want to think about.

But like everything in life, there are certain people (in this case, celebrities) who have confronted the fears of aging head-on and turned into something that may not be such a bad thing after all. (Seriously, if I look like Jane Fonda when I’m 75, I will gladly take that bad back I’ve recently acquired.)

Celebuzz has rounded up 15 celebrities who have taken the wrinkles out of getting older, so to speak (and not in the Nicole Kidman way). Check out our favorites in the gallery, above.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Back in Treatment for Bipolar II Disorder

Posted: 30 Apr 2013 05:35 AM PDT

Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has returned to a treatment facility for bipolar II disorder, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE Monday evening.

“Catherine has proactively checked into a health care facility. Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner,” her rep said.

Sources for PEOPLE added this is simply a way for doctors to monitor Zeta-Jones’ medication.

“There was no big problem. This was just a good time to do it. She is in between projects. This has always been part of the plan. She would manage her health. She is vigilant about it.”

Zeta-Jones, 43, who is married to actor Michael Douglas, was previously treated for bipolar II disorder in 2011.

She’ll next appear in the movie Reds 2, out July 19.
