Amanda Seyfried, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts were among the starlets who switched up their red carpet looks before heading to the Oscars after-parties. And Anne Hathaway, who was rumored to be wearing Valentino but arrived on the red carpet in a pink Prada gown, changed not once but twice before the night was over. After getting mixed reviews for her pink red carpet look, the Oscar winner donned an ombré Armani gown during the show before changing into a blue Saint Laurent gown with a gold neckline for the Vanity Fair Oscar party. | Watch: Ellen Reveals She Didn’t Receive Any Hollywood Jobs For Three Years After Coming Out Posted: 25 Feb 2013 12:52 PM PST Ellen DeGeneres first shocked viewers when she admitted she was gay on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1997 — a decision she said led to her going broke. In an interview with Australia’s A Current Affair, the talk show host said she didn’t receive any job offers for three years after sitcom Ellen was axed. "I was so mad that I lost my show, and not just my show but for three years I didn't have any offers,” the 55-year-old told reporter Tracy Grimshaw. “I mean literally, the phone did not ring for three years and I had no money.” "All of a sudden just because of one revelation, I was the joke.”
DeGeneres, who is now married to Arrested Development actress Portia de Rossi, said though Hollywood lashed out at her during the tough time, the experience only strengthened her as a person. "I was the punchline of every late night talk show. I was made fun of in a magazine, and it felt horrible at the time,” she said. "Now, I look back on it and I am thankful because it gave me a chance to examine myself and say who [you are] without fame.” As the tears went by, DeGeneres was the one who had the last laugh. Her popular talk show is now in its 10th season. In 2012, Forbes named DeGeneres as the 27th most powerful celebrity in Hollywood with an estimate net worth is at $53 million. She was also listed as the 47th most powerful woman in the world in the same year. Despite her success, the comedienne said fight for acceptance isn’t over just yet. "I think there are a lot of people who don't approve of who I am and who don't understand, and I can't really do anything about that," DeGeneres told Grimshaw. "I wish I could make people see there is nothing wrong with being who you are." "I used to want people to like me — and I still want them to like me — but I know I have no control over it," she continued. "I can just be myself. I am a good person. I'm a kind person. I live my life in a kind way. "I go to sleep at night and know I've done the best I can. That's all I can do." DeGeneres is an outspoken supporter of the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network and The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization that aids to suicide prevention among gay and questioning teens. |

The Oscar winner, who was at the Hollywood event Sunday to present the awards for Best Original and Adapted Screenplay, was one of the most talked-about actresses during and after the ceremony, with her name as one of Google’s top trending topics the following day. So, what’s the secret to Theron? Why were spectators — including fellow presenter Dustin Hoffman — so drawn to the Young Adult actress? Read on as Celebuzz tries to break down this mystery.

| Which Celeb Hid From The Paparazzi By Wearing A Gas Mask? Posted: 25 Feb 2013 12:06 PM PST  We’ve seen celebrities go to great lengths to avoid getting their picture taken by the paparazzi — but this latest attempt by Justin Bieber might take the cake. The 18-year-old pop phenom put on a gas mask (yes, a gas mask) as he tried to make a clean getaway in London on Monday. Bieber had been shopping Acne Studios when the cameras showed up. Of course, being the sneaky people that they are, the paparazzi still managed to get a frame or two of Bieber without the mask on as he did his shopping. But, hey, at least he got the last laugh.
Bieber — who split from girlfriend Selena Gomez at the end of last year — is currently in London for the UK leg of his uber-popular Believe tour, which kicked off in Manchester last Friday. | It’s Brunette Britney, B*tch (PHOTOS) Posted: 25 Feb 2013 11:31 AM PST  Britney Spears ditched her usual grocery store attire for a glamorous night out on Sunday — all in the name of Oscar. The 31-year-old made quite a red carpet appearance at Elton John's annual Oscar viewing party in Los Angeles, thanks to a new hair color and revealing dress. Spears, who debuted a chestnut brown mane, donned a sparkling number from Michael Cinco's Fall 2013 collection for the big event.
The "Scream & Shout" singer was just one of many big names at the star-studded event. Miley Cyrus, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Bono and Chris Brown were also on hand to watch Hollywood's biggest night from the comfort of the Pacific Design center in West Hollywood.
Sunday's red carpet affair is one of Spears' first major public appearances since her split from Jason Trawick in January. Since becoming single, the mother-of-two has been frequently spotted on trips to Target, grocery stores and one of her favorite spots, Starbucks. Next up for Spears: a possible longterm move to Las Vegas. Her manager Larry Rudolph recently told E! that the singer is still in "deep negotiations" with Caesars Entertainment Group, the same residency Celine Dion has had (on and off) since 2003. | Posted: 25 Feb 2013 08:35 AM PST  Demi Lovato does not want to “Give Your Heart A Break” anymore — now she’s ready to set off a “Heart Attack.” Less than two weeks after teasing the track, the former Disney darling debuted the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album, Heart Attack. Though the songstress planned to unveil the tune on March 4, Lovato surprised fans by dropping “Heart Attack” late Sunday night. "Surprise! We're premiering @ddlovato’s new song ‘#HeartAttack’ TONIGHT!!" Seacrest announced on his Twitter account, linking to the On Air with Ryan Seacrest site. “Go listen now.” The rock-tinged pop tune, which The X Factor judge penned along with four co-writers, is an edgy departure from Lovato’s earlier saccharine-sweet sound. Over a bass-heavy beat that carries hints of electronic, the singer croons about hiding her head-over-heels feelings. “You make me glow, but I cover up/ Won't let it show, so I'm/ Puttin' my defences up/ Cause I don't wanna fall in love,” Lovato belts out (see the song’s lyrics at DirectLyrics). “If I ever did that/ I think I'd have a heart attack.” The single comes ahead of her upcoming Heart Attack album, due out in Spring 2013. But Lovato has billed it as a different sound than her 2011 release, Unbroken. "For a while, I could tell when people talked to me, they knew my story," she said. "I think I've opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow. While filming at Celebuzz‘s Hollywood studios Wednesday, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi admited that if she were to star in an adult film, she’d want Argo director Ben Affleck behind the camera coaching her. When The Daily Buzz host Hyla asked the Snooki & JWoww star what she’d tweet with the hashtag “#BenAffleckDirects,” Snooki quickly chimed, “My porno!”
“I love Ben Affleck,” the 25-year-old continued. “He’s very good-looking and I love his family.” “They’re just so cute.” However, Affleck — who surprised everyone when he was snubbed for a directing nod at this year’s Oscars — isn’t the only A-list actor Snooki wants to meet. She has her eyes set on Denzel Washington as well. “Smoking weed,” she joked when asked what would she tweet with the hashtag #JustMeAndDenzel. “But I don’t do that. I swear,” she added. | The Good, The Bad And The Just Plain Weird — In GIFs Posted: 25 Feb 2013 12:51 PM PST  So, for better or worse, the Oscars are officially over. And, as with many live shows, the annual telecast had its fair share of memorable moments, both good, bad and, in the case of Renee Zellweger, kind of odd. Luckily, the Internet was able to capture every step of the way in pure GIF glory, and Celebuzz has rounded up the 12 very best.
Have a look at them now, below. 1.) So, yeah, Jennifer Lawrence fell. 2.) But she still won an Oscar! 3.) Plus, Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper were quick to her rescue, which was nice. 4.) | 7 Oscar Beauty Trends You’ll Want To Steal Now Posted: 25 Feb 2013 08:04 AM PST  Let’s face it: Few of us are going to have an occasion so glam as to warrant a big ball gown a la Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence or one of the mermaid styles worn by Reese Witherspoon or Jessica Chastain. But we can adapt the hair, makeup and nail trends stars were sporting to last night’s Oscars to step up our own night-out (or even nine-to-five!) look. This year, the stars let their eye-catching gowns take center stage, opting for softer, more natural hair and makeup over dramatic statement-making eye shadows, lipsticks, and hairstyles (recall the faux-hawk of red carpets past). The red carpet’s biggest beauty trend was nude lips, with only a few stars brightening up the red carpet via pouts that pop. But even the stars who sported bold lips, went with a softer hue, opting for bright berry shades over classic reds or shocking pinks.
Whether worn down or up, romantic waves and loose updos complemented the feminine feel of the night’s makeup and fashion. From Chastain and Witherspoon’s retro waves to Kristen Stewart‘s natural curls and Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watt’s soft and loose updos, the hair was just as wearable and flattering as the makeup. Even the nails were kept neutral to match the parade of neutral cream, white, blush and gray gowns coming down the red carpet. Those who did sport darker shades kept it simple in rich oxblood and red, with the nail designs and glitter that created a buzz at the past few awards shows, noticeably absent. | Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One Before Posted: 25 Feb 2013 08:21 AM PST  Time to pony up, Lilo. Lindsay Lohan faces fresh financial woes after she was hit with a new tax bill. Just months after the IRS reportedly seized her bank accounts because of unpaid taxes, the State of California is claiming that the Liz & Dick star owes $56,717.90 for unpaid income tax from back in 2011, according to TMZ. And that wasn’t the only year in which Lohan stiffed the government. The ever-embattled actress’ tax fell behind on bill for the years 2009 and 2010, which totaled to nearly a quarter million dollars. After apparently loaning her mother, Dina Lohan, $40,000 to avoid foreclosure on her Long Island home, Lohan was turned to her Scary Movie 5 costar, Charlie Sheen, for a $100,000 loan to avoid defaulting on back taxes. While her 2009 outstanding taxes — over $93,000 — are now taken care of, Lohan still has to pay up for 2010 and 2011, despite her reportedly pocketing $200,000 for her cameo in the new Scary Movie installment. On top of falling into a financial hole, Lohan is still on the hook in the court of law. Not only is there pending lawsuit from paparazzo Grigor Balyan claiming he was run over by Lohan's car in 2010, but the actress still faces three misdemeanor charges stemming from her involvement in a car accident last summer. During a January hearing, Lohan pleaded not guilty to lying to police, reckless driving, and obstructing officers from performing their duties, all from an incident in June, in which she crashed her black Porsche into the back of a garbage truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. As a result of the charges, Lohan's probation, for which she was placed on after she was accused of stealing a necklace from a Los Angeles-area jeweler, was revoked. Judge Stephanie Sautner, who previously sent Lohan to prison and placed her under house arrest, set a March 1 hearing for the car crash case, at which Lohan is not required to appear. But she is due back in court for the trial date, March 18. If convicted of charges, Lohan faces up to 245 days behind bars. |

Amid the gorgeous gowns and dapper tuxes, love was on Hollywood’s side on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards on Sunday evening. It was a party of three for Channing Tatum, who worked the carpet with wife Jenna and their soon-to-be bundle of joy. “She’s willing it to be a girl,” Tatum told Entertainment Tonight about their unborn baby. As for the big-named nominees, the evening wouldn’t be complete without their true love on their arm. Argo’s Ben Affleck couldn’t take his eyes off wife Jennifer Garner as they headed inside the Dolby Theatre to celebrate the final leg of the awards season. Vying for the Best Actress statue tonight, Naomi Watts brought her ultimate good-luck charm: longtime beau Liev Schreiber. When it comes to unconditional love, Bradley Cooper easily earns the title of “most dedicated son” as he proudly accompanied his mother Gloria. “She’s really holding it together. She’s doing well!” Cooper said about his mother.
Meanwhile, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler shot down speculations of a breakup as they celebrated the evening in style. And in rare appearance together, Jennifer Aniston looked red-hot as she arrived in a Valentino gown, topped off with her hot accessory: fiance Justin Theroux.
