Just friends?

Josh Hutcherson and Selena Gomez sparked rumors that they might be dating after the pair was spotted exiting the Beverly Hilton Hotel arm-in-arm on Sunday night.

Hutcherson and Gomez, both 20, were photographed together a bit earlier that evening at the Weinstein Co. after party, where they were joined by Ashley TisdaleModern Family star Sarah Hyland and, ironically, Hutcherson’s ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens.

The duo also attended InStyle’s after party, but arrived separately.

Hudgens wound up staying with Hutcherson and Gomez until the end of the night and was seen by Celebuzz walking slightly in front of them as they made their way towards the limos and shuttles.

On their way out, Celebuzz managed to sneak in a question with Hutcherson, who was overjoyed that his Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook

“I’m so excited. She’s the best. I love her,” he said, adding it was “definitely” his favorite part of the evening.

No word on whether or not Gomez and Hutcherson might actually be a couple — but it is convenient timing, as Gomez is rumored to be single again after her on-again, off-again relationship with singer Justin Bieber.

What do you think? Would Gomez and Hutcherson make a cute couple? Or are you still Team Justin? Sound off in the comments, below.

Fresh off her Golden Globes victory, actress Jennifer Lawrence is generating some real heat — or, if you're a fan of terrible puns, catching fire. So it's hardly a coincidence that today we've been given a select few images from the hotly anticipated Hunger Games follow-up.

Here we can see Katniss Everdeen and her fellow victor Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) making a key speech during their victory tour around the Districts, as well as a quick shot of Lawrence on-set with her no-relation director, Francis Lawrence (Constantine, I Am Legend).

While there's decided lack of bows-and-arrows and colorful costumes – except for Tron hanging out in the back there – the photos are still likely to set Hunger Games fans aflutter until the first teaser footage drops later this year.

For now, folks, just grab your Mockingjay pins and check out our latest gallery of images from Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Also, make sure to watch the trailer for Silver Linings Playbook, the film for which she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress, and received an Oscar nomination in the same category.

‘Man of Steel’ Director Zack Snyder to Tackle New ‘Star Wars’ Film

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 12:21 PM PST

As Zack Snyder wraps up his new Superman reboot, Man of Steel, the director has set his sights on another franchise: Star Wars.

Vulture reported Monday that Snyder has quietly begun work on developing a new stand-alone Star Wars movie, based on Akira Kurosawa‘s Seven Samurai. This film will be made some time after Star Wars: Episode VII, and is rumored to take place in a post-Return of the Jedi timeline.

Story details are obviously top secret, but audiences can expect Snyder’s film to have a very lightsaber-heavy spin on Samurai‘s story, which centered on a band of ronin warriors hired to defend a village from murderous bandits. (Swap out “ronin” for “Jedi” and you have a vague idea of where the film could go…)

Snyder, who originally passed on the idea of directing Episode VII, joins writers Lawrence KasdenMichael Arndt and Simon Kinberg as the only official names attached to the franchise’s next big-screen chapters.

This is not the first Kurosawa film to have ties to Star WarsGeorge Lucas has openly stated that Kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress inspired A New Hope‘s “save-the-princess” storyline.

Is the Force strong with Snyder and his new Star Wars film? Weigh in below! And to tide you over, check out the trailer for Zack Snyder’s upcoming film Man of Steel.

‘Nashville’ Star Hayden Panettiere: Hollywood Is Ready to Forgive Mel Gibson (EXCLUSIVE)

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:42 AM PST

Was Mel Gibson’s low-key appearance at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards a sign that America may be ready forgive him?

It’s possible, says Nashville star Hayden Panettiere.

“I think forgiving is the best quality because America loves comebacks and they love flaws and for people to admit their mistakes and to grow from them,” Panettiere told Celebuzz while discussing Jodie Foster’s emotional Cecil B. DeMille speech. “We all do. They can be big, they can be small.”

“The unfortunate thing about being in the public eye is you get much less breaks because everything is so magnified,” she added.

“It's not like we make any mistakes that other people don't. It's just that they're so public and so explosive and so judgmental too to everything that somebodies created in their career. But I think forgiveness is one of the best qualities that America has.”

Gibson — who sat at Foster’s table at the event and was personally thanked by her in her speech — suffered a career nose dive in 2006 when he was arrested for a DUI and accused of making anti-Semitic marks at the time of his arrest.

A few years later, in 2010 phone calls were leaked to the Internet in which Gibson was heard yelling a number of offensive remarks at his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

But based on the look on his face during Foster’s speech, it seemed like he was ready to be forgiven.

Panettiere agreed.

“The worst punishment is having to live with what you're done; to live with it yourself,” Panettiere — who was nominated Sunday night for Nashville – said.

“We have that saying — 'You lay in the bed you made' — and that's the worst punishment. To continually punish, it's just unnecessary and I think you can see in people when they're ready to be forgiven and they know and understand what they've done.

“People do silly things and people do rash thing that they don't mean.

“We all say things that we don't mean and crazy things. It happens to all of us and it doesn't mean that one person is better than another.”

Panettiere said ”forgiveness is always the best route.”

“You always give somebody a second chance. If they go beyond that that's something you, that's your choice. A second chance is a great thing. Forgiveness and understand and benefit of the doubt. Benefit of the doubt is something that I don't feel like people give as freely and they should.”

Nashville airs Wednesday nights on ABC. For more on Celebuzz’s Golden Globes coverage, click here.

Hold on to your butts: There's another Jurassic Park on the way.

Universal Pictures announced via press release that the fourth installment of the hit dinosaur franchise will arrive in theaters June 13, 2014. Steven Spielberg, who helmed the first two films in the franchise, will serve as executive producer. The film, written by Rise of the Planet of the Apes scribes Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, is expected to find a director soon.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are launching a new production company. Important Studios will allow the duo to "approve television, movie and theater projects, including a big-screen version of The Book of Mormon." Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is still a thing that's happening, and Disney has hired a new writer to make it happen. Unless he's developed an allergy to all the money this franchise makes. [Variety]

Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the directing duo behind Crazy, Stupid, Love, have signed-on to write and direct the film based on the Wired Magazine article "John McAfee's Last Stand.” The film centers on McAfee's crazy turn from software engineer to suspected murderer and fugitive hiding out in Belize. ‘Carrie Diaries’ Costume Designer Eric Daman Gives Us a Peek Inside Young Carrie Bradshaw’s Closet

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 09:34 AM PST

'Carrie Diaries' Fashion AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries AnnaSophia Robb stars as Carrie Bradshaw in Carrie Diaries

Carrie Bradshaw returns to the small screen, when the Carrie Diaries premieres on the CW on on Jan. 14, starring AnnaSophia Robb as a teenage Bradshaw. We couldn’t be more excited to see the Sex and the City spinoff — and see all the set style.

While the show chronicles a young Carrie, circa the 1980s, you know when it’s Carrie — and former Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman is dressing her — the fashion is going to be good.

We talked to Daman to get the scoop on all the fabulous fashion we can expect when Carrie Diaries airs on Monday. Check out our interview — then take a sneak peek at the retro fashion straight from the set.

How are you translating Carrie’s SATC style for her younger self in Carrie Diaries?
ED: The approaches are very different. Keep in mind while “pre”-creating a teenage Carrie, she is still in public school in Connecticut. The Carrie Diaries of course will stay true to her idiosyncratic style by not giving in to pre-determined trends of the era but making her own.  So in that sense there is a similarity, but over all it feels like a very different process.

Tell us what young Carrie’s style is like.
ED: Conceptually, we hope to create an aspirational authentic look, not an overtly kitschy ’80s look. Our young CB’s style will be idiosyncratic, but quieter then the Carrie we already know. She is at an age where she is experimenting, learning and creating her individual unique style. Keeping all of this in mind when conceiving her look, I wanted  to give her a unique point of view mixing colors and patterns, as well as eras.  Mixing obvious ’80s-inspired items with pieces from her “mother’s closet” that feel more ’60s and ’70s with contemporary flair.

Is there a person or experience that helps to inspire Carrie’s love of fashion and personal style?

ED: [On the show] Carrie’s mom has passed recently and her closet becomes a bit of a “Pandora’s box” that inspires Carrie’s style.  She has access to a Narnia of fashion from eras past, she may wear boots that seem as though they are from the ’70s (even though they are current Chloe collection) or printed tops from the ’60s (even though they are Marc by Marc Jacobs).

Carrie has a true fashion evolution the more and more she has contact with NYC.  She has this amazing fashion mentor “Larissa,” the style editor from Interview Magazine that really contributes to Carrie’s blossoming original take on style. (Of course having access to the ’80s Interview fashion closet doesn’t hurt.)

Now, speaking of the ’80s, how are you adapting the trends of that era (some of which make many of us cringe like, ahem, shoulder pads) to create looks that are reflective of the time, yet inspiring to today’s fashion-loving viewers?
ED: I refreshed my ’80s fashion sense (having been a fashion curious teen in the ’80s was an added bonus) by rewatching all of the John Hughes classics, as well as a mix of quiet Connecticut-inspired hometown films like Ordinary People, and of course getting out my high school yearbooks. New York City becomes an important part to her character and style as well, so I poured through Interview magazines from the era, as well as films like Liquid Sky, Slaves of New York and Desperately Seeking Susan. Fortunately, there is a lot of ’80s-inspired fashion trending right now, so keeping an aspirational authenticity to the look is a very realistic concept.

A lot of ’80s fashion wasn’t the cutest or most flattering.  By keeping the shapes and fabrics contemporary, but playing with colors and layers, the look feels very retro-modern and cool. We are working with classic ’80s colors and prints but in modern more slimming shapes and silhouettes — not giant shoulder pads and oversized bulk.

Will Carrie have signature accessories like her name necklace on SATC?

ED: As far as signature accessories go, there’s the personalized “Carrie” bag from Mark Cross and the “C” initial pendant from Alex woo (a prelude to the signature Carrie nameplate).

What are some hallmarks of her closet (like the tutu she wears in the opening credits of SATC)?

ED: The silver sequin Top Shop dress with vintage Rainbow belt, the Autumn Cashmere lime green leopard cardi (tres Carrie B.), the fuchsia party dress with black polka dots that represents her first night out in NYC (a vintage ’80s Scasi original), her neon orange Alice and Olivia pumps.

Has young Carrie discovered her foot fetish and handbag fetish yet?

ED: She hasn’t discovered her shoe and bag fetish just yet, but as the season progresses we will definitely might see that fetish flourish and progress.

Carrie could be pretty daring — and sexy — with her fashion on SATC. How will you be toning down her style to fit a younger Connecticut Carrie?
ED: Our teen Carrie will totally take chances and be a standout style star. The “sexiness” will be replaced by confident, sweet innocence.

How does your work on Carrie Diaries compare to Gossip Girl? Dressing teenage Carrie must be a big change from the high-end designers and of-the-moment looks Blair and Serena wore.
ED: The biggest similarity is the fact that I really wanted to give each character his or her own very personalized style.  As a costume designer, it is really key to help define a character through clothing, and I am lucky enough to be able to, not once but twice, push characters stylistically to really shine and stand on their own through their wardrobe choices.

The biggest difference is that Carrie and her crew are Connecticut suburban teens of mid-level affluence and not uber rich Upper East-siders, running around scheming in the latest high fashions.

What labels will young Carrie be wearing? What are some of your go-to sources for unique clothes and accessories for the show?
ED: The clothing came from a lot of my favorite haunts in NYC: Amarcord, Beacon’s Closet, Ressurrection, Cloak and Screaming Mimi’s for Vintage. I also relied on fast fashion shops like Top Shop and H&M, as well as high-end stores like Saks, to give the look its contemporary “aspirational authenticity” we hoped to develop. Of course, there will be some big-name designers sprinkled in like Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Missoni and Georges Chakra to name a few…

Why were you excited by the opportunity to dress young Carrie? What made this project so appealing to you?
ED: Dressing a young Carrie Bradshaw was at first quite intimidating but ultimately exhilarating. It was very important to keep in mind that she is a young high school student in Connecticut and still figuring out her style. And of course the era plays a huge roll in the over all look.

Follow Daman at @EricDaman_Style  and on his blog as he offers an inside look at fashion, the designers he used, the stores he shopped for each week’s episode of Carrie Diaries.

Nicole Kidman: Why Keith Urban Won’t Be Watching ‘American Idol’ (VIDEO)

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 09:20 AM PST

Nicole Kidman

When American Idols new season launches on Wednesday, millions across America will be tuning in to the ratings juggernaut to see the revamped judges’ table. But there’s one person on the panel who won’t be watching: Keith Urban.

“You mean sit at home and watch the show? I wouldn't think so. I don't think Keith will watch himself,” the country singer’s wife, Nicole Kidman, told reporters on the G’Day USA Gala red carpet. “He's done it now and it's not our style.”

That doesn’t mean the Academy Award-winning actress won’t flip the channel to Fox to cheer on her man. “I'll watch it,” Kidman gushed. “Yeah, I'm really excited. I've seen nothing.”

Though she’s showed off her pipes in big-screen productions such as 2001′s Moulin Rouge and 2009′s Nine, Kidman doesn’t consider herself of in the same caliber as the American Idol judges. “No,” she said when asked if she would ever join the show. “I wouldn't know how to critique singers.”

In fact, when the cameras stop rolling, Kidman, 45, can’t always muster up the courage to belt out a song. “I can't even get up and sing karaoke half the time because I get so nervous,” she admitted. “That, for some reason, I have a huge block on.” But when she fully steps into character for a role, “I can do it,” the actress said. “But I’d need a cheerleader like Baz Luhrmann,” she added, tipping her hat to her Moulin Rouge director.

Though Urban may not tune in to American Idol on the tube, the country star know what kind of contestants he’s looking for in the hit singing competition. “The reality is that we all react differently to different things and so I think for me, at the end of the day, it has to speak to me," Urban told the audience during Idol‘s premiere screening event in Los Angeles, Calif.

"If a person is creating art,” he continued, “and saying something in a way that I'm captivated by that person and I can't take my eyes off that person, that's it for me."

American Idol returns to FOX on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 8PM EST.

Infographic: Timeline Of Taylor Swift’s Relationships

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:53 AM PST

Taylor Swift shouldn't have any "Trouble" writing songs for her next album.

Just days after splitting from One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles, the 23-year-old country crooner teased fans by confirming her return to the drawing board.

"Back in the studio. Uh oh," she wrote last Thursday.

Did They Plan This? Matching Stars was the Golden Globes’ Biggest Trend

The 2013 Golden Globes brought us many new faces, fresh fashions and inspiring beauty trends.

But this year also brought us some … well, copycat fashions, with many starlets showing up in (gasp!) nearly identical gowns.

Sure, every red carpet has colors, fabrics, designs and silhouettes that dominate the red carpet, but Sundays night’s red carpet saw so many lookalike dresses, it almost seemed like some stars had planned it.

There was Zooey Deschanel and Jennifer Lawrence in strapless, long red ball gowns, and Marion Cotillard only distinguishing her red strapless dress and gold belt from Lawrence’s Dior red dress and gold belt with a shorter hemline.

Then there was the parade of strapless, blush mermaid styles worn by Hayden Panettiere, Amy Adams and Megan Fox.

But these ladies in red and blushing beauties were far from the Golden Globes’ only fashion copycats.

Click through our gallery to see all the red carpet lookalikes.

What do you think of all the stars in similar styles? Is it just a case of “great minds think alike” or a boring case of too many stars playing it safe? Weigh in with your take in the comments below.

The Reason You Shouldn’t Hate on Jennifer Lawrence (VIDEO)

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:52 AM PST

The Girl on Fire ignited a little friction during the Golden Globes.

As Jennifer Lawrence took home the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, the first-time Golden Globe winner shocked viewers (and the evening’s attendees) when she jokingly uttered, “I beat Meryl,” during her acceptance speech at Sunday night’s star-studded ceremony.

But the slight on Streep, who wasn’t in attendance due to a case of the flu, wasn’t ill-intended. Lawrence was referencing a scene from the 1996 comedy The First Wives Club, starring Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton.

“In the film, Bette Midler's character says to Goldie Hawn's character, “Once you were a terrific actress. You even got an Oscar to prove it." Bette's character sees and touches the golden statue in the scene, saying, "'I beat Meryl.' That's what it says,” Access Hollywood explained.

Although her quip garnered a few laughs at the Beverly Hilton, the Twitterverse may have missed out on the joke. The proof: the reference prompted an online frenzy among viewers and celebrities alike.

"WOAH…OOPS, Jennifer Lawrence – Whoops.. "I BEAT MERYL"???!!! Who says that?" Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba tweeted.

“Just heard Jennifer Lawrence win something. She beat Meryl?” Parks and Recreation actress Retta posted alongside a photo of herself looking surprised.

“You can’t say “I beat Meryl”. Oh no oh no no no,” indie singer Ingrid Michaelson wrote. Adding: “No one. Ever. Beats. Meryl.”

And, naturally, no controversy is complete without a say from Lindsay Lohan.

“Words cannot express how much I LOVE Kristen Wiig,” the actress commented on Wiig’s comedic bit with Will Ferrell, who both presented Lawrence with the award. “And no1 should ever mess with a legend, such as Meryl Streep.”

Despite the negative feedback, the Hunger Games star might be getting the final say in this situation. She’s currently up for two more Best Actress awards this season at the SAG Awards and Oscars for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook.

What do you think of Jennifer’s Meryl Streep remark? Was it a witty movie reference or a joke gone wrong? Sound off in the comments!

What’s It Like to Be ‘Biggest Loser’ Trainer Jillian Michaels’ Kids?

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 12:37 PM PST

Biggest Loser Jillian Michaels Lukensia Phoenix Gwen Stefani Gwen Stefani Gwen Stefani Gwen Stefani Alessandra Ambrosio Doutzen Kroes

Jillian Michaels got a lot of unwanted attention as a child, weighing in at 175 pounds by the age of 12. After enrolling in a martial arts class and bringing her weight down, Michaels became a personal trainer when she was just 17.

Today, the star of NBC's The Biggest Loser lives happily with partner Heidi Rhoades and her two kids, 2-year-old Lukensia and 8-month-old Phoenix, but is still grappling with unwanted attention – only now it's from nosey photographers.

"I can't hide two kids, but I wish that I had somehow found a way now when my daughter's saying cheese to the paparazzi," she recently said at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena. "I haven't yet figured out how to manage that."

Like any celebrity couple, Michaels and Rhoades try to shelter their children from the press, but worry that the kids will grow up feeling the family has something to hide.

Between dealing with paparazzi, running a company with her business partner and shooting The Biggest Loser, she wonders how well she fulfills her parenting duties.

"I do feel like it is hard to leave the kids and there is some guilt in that," she confessed. "So, that's a challenge for me personally."

Like many parents, she fawns over her children to a nearly ridiculous level, going so far as to explain to her baby why he has to wear a diaper. "I'm like, 'Listen, I know you're really mad about this, but it has to go down this way. You're gonna pee everywhere and we can't have that!"

Following her parents' divorce when she was 12, Michaels struggled with her weight during her teens, but has since adopted a healthy diet consisting of mostly organic foods – eating habits she's passed on to the rest of her family.

"It's just about balance," said Michaels, adding that Phoenix eats homemade baby food, but his big sister, Lukensia gets a broader choice. "If she doesn't like this vegetable and she likes butternut squash, then that's what she's gonna get. And when she's a good girl, she gets a treat after dinner and it's things like an organic graham cracker."

But then again there's nothing to keep grandma from stopping by with a carton of ice cream. "We'll pick an ice cream that doesn't have growth hormones in it, that's natural, with none of that garbage, and she has a small-sized portion," smiled Michaels. "It's just about teaching the kids balance, that's all."

The Biggest Loser airs Mondays at 8PM on NBC.

Deception Meagan Goode

An actress since the age of four, Meagan Good didn't have far to go to research her breakthrough role as an undercover cop on NBC's new series, Deception.

"Mainly, I got with my father who was LAPD for 26 years and his wife, an FBI agent, just to pick up the mannerisms and the mentality that comes with risking your life everyday and being someone who is constantly about justice to the point where they would risk their life," Good said during the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, Calif.

On the show, Good plays Joanna Locasto, a housekeeper's daughter who grew up in the luxurious Bowers mansion where her mother served. Working undercover, Locasto returns to the mansion to investigate the murder of her childhood friend and notorious heiress, Vivian Bowers.

A veteran of shows like Nickelodeon's Cousin Skeeter and Showtime's Californication, Good has been a journeyman performer over the years, taking supporting roles on TV as well as movies like You Got Served and 2011's Jumping the Broom.

"He was kind of excited," she said of her father Leon Good's reaction to her playing a cop. "He loves to see me shooting guns and kicking butt. He gets very emotionally attached to what's going on to anything that I do – 'Did that person hurt you? How was that scene?' He's very into it, which I love."

In addition to her father, she mentioned Halle Berry as a role model, noting how the Oscar winner's beauty made it hard for people to take her seriously early in her career.

"There were certain people that I kind of looked up to who I thought there struggle was similar to some of the things that I had experienced when some of the things I did basically would be about the look as opposed to the heart and the quality that we can give over as actors," she explained. "For me this is kind of a victory to get the show and to be able to do something that is simply about this character's heart."

With Deception, Good joins Kerry Washington of ABC's Scandal as the first African-American female leads on a network show in 38 years. Deception debuted last Monday with 5.6 million viewers and a 2.0 share of the ad-coveted 18-49 demo, edging out its competition, ABC's Castle.

According to Good, being driven is one thing, but it can't be the only thing. Along with her new husband, Columbia Pictures executive and Seventh-Day Adventist Preacher DeVon Franklin, she is very active in the church and volunteer counsels young women in reformatories and prisons.

"I feel like if you're heart is in the right place, your desire is deeper than just being famous or just being a celebrity, the universe just sort of comes together," she explained. "With my experience it's just been the more my desire has been for something outside of that, the easier it has come for me. So, here I am now and we'll see what's next."

Deception airs Mondays at 10PM on NBC.

Lady Gaga Packs Heat in Canada (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga is fully loaded.

Following a one-month hiatus from touring, the pop star kicked off the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball as stormed the stage in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, with guns blazing — literally.

In one of her frequent, and always fabulous, mid-concert outfit changes, Gaga appeared in a guns-adorned black brassiere, paired with a pink ponytail and army-green parachute pants. Mother Monster’s firearm fashion may hit some raw nerves, as it came just a day after Vice President Joe Biden met with Congress and the National Rifle Association (NRA) to revisit gun control laws in wake of the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn., which left 26 people dead.

Gaga wouldn’t be the first pop star to bring gun play on stage. Last October, Madonna caught criticism for wielding a prop weapon and pretended to shoot an imaginary criminal during her MDNA tour concert in Denver, Colo., just months after the movie theater mass shooting in the nearby city of Aurora.

But Gaga has hit headlines recently for more than her ever-controversial fashion choices. Mother Monster has been wrapped up in a war of words with Kelly Osbourne, as the two have battled back and forth about bullying. First the Fashion Police host slammed the pop star's followers as "the worst" for their criticism of her weight struggles. Then Gaga responded with an open letter to Osbourne, berating the E! star for "pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals."
After Sharon Osbourne came to the defense of her daughter — blasting Gaga as “hypocritical and full of contradictions” and branded Osbourne’s work a simple product of the “real world” — the “Born This Way” singer shot back on Twitter over the weekend.
“The ‘real world’ can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place? I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do,” Gaga wrote. “My letter to @MissKellyO was open, because her statements on cyber-bulling were public & as a youth activist I’m compelled to be involved.”

But despite all the flying fur, Kelly Osbourne is still a self-proclaimed “big fan” of the pop star. “All I have to say on this subject is that I love Lady Gaga!” she told People on Saturday. “I made stupid mistakes when I was 25, as well, when I accused people of doing things that were wrong. We all live and we learn, and like I said, I’m a big fan of hers.”

Weigh in: Who do you think is in the right: Kelly or Gaga? State why in the comments below.

Prince William, Kate Middleton Confirm Royal Due Date

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 10:36 AM PST

Prince William and Kate Middleton confirmed Monday that their baby is due sometime in July.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July,” the couple’s office said in a statement released at 11AM GMT. “The Duchess’ condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month.”

According to sources for PEOPLE, the couple is not expecting twins, contrary to previous reports. They have also chosen not to reveal the sex of the baby until after it is born.

The Palace confirmed William and Middleton — who turned 31 last week — were expecting on Dec. 3.

That same day, Middleton was hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe type of morning sickness.

She was released four days later.

On Friday, Middleton made her first public appearance of the new year at London’s National Portrait Gallery, where her official portrait was unveiled at a private gathering.

‘Liz & Dick’ Star Confirms the Obvious: Lindsay is No Angel (VIDEO)

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 11:52 AM PST

Grant Bowler and Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan isn’t exactly a saint on set.

That was a not-so-surprising revelation of the recent New York Times Magazine exposé chronicling the actress’ eyebrow-raising, behind-the-scenes behavior during the making of her upcoming thriller, The Canyons. But it seems Lohan’s antic weren’t limited to that set, as her Liz & Dick costar Grant Bowler admits that working with the ever-embattled actress was anything but easy.

“Lindsay is not the easiest person I've ever worked with, but acting is acting,” he told Celebuzz at the G’Day USA Gala. “We're not hired as marketing people or as greeters or as anything else — you're hired to do a job. I've always found it amazing that people expect actors to be wonderful human beings as well as good at their job, because they never expect lawyers to be the same.”

But Bowler believes the real-life friction with Lohan lent itself to their on-screen dynamic in the Lifetime biopic about legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, in which he starred as Taylor’s longtime love Richard Burton.

“I found it very challenging, but the interesting thing about that was I think that relationship was very challenging, so maybe it made good for the characters,” he told Celebuzz at the Golden Globes gift suite. “It was a lot of mirroring and how I imagine how Burton and Taylor must of been. [It] probably did us a lot of favors.”

Despite whatever on-set trials and tribulations went down, Bowler wouldn’t rule out working with Lohan again. “Look, here's the deal. Life is long and you never say never,” Bowler said. “I've said never about a lot of things in my life, and I'm sure you have too. That's what New Year's resolutions are all about. Who knows.”

And though Liz & Dick was wholly panned by critics, Bowler doesn’t hold regrets  his role in the much-hyped made-for-TV movie. “It doesn’t really matter if I’m happy or not with the reviews. You do that work and that’s it,” he explained. “Critics and people will take from it what they will. I was happy with my work and happy with the opportunity to play him. [I'm] also grateful for everyone coming together in the film in terms of departments editing, wardrobe, hair and make-up.”

Now as Lohan prepares to head to California court on Tuesday for probation violation hearing, Bowler is hoping all legal woes work out for the actress. He said simply, “Well, I wish her the best.”

‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ Patti Stanger on Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux: ‘I Hope It Lasts’ (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

Posted: 13 Jan 2013 05:46 PM PST

After years of heartbreak, failed relationships and divorce, Jennifer Aniston appears to have found love again with her current beau, fiance Justin Theroux.

But will their relationship actually last? Maybe, says relationship expert Patti Stanger.

“Tough question,” Stanger told Celebuzz on Thursday while promoting her new season of Millionaire Matchmaker. “He left a girlfriend [costume designer Heidi Bivens] after 14 years.”

“I think he’s got her roped in,” she continued. “I hope it lasts. I can’t say 100 percent, because I don’t like the way you get a guy is the way you lose a guy. It kind of reminded me of Julia Roberts back in the day, with Danny [Moder].”

“I hope it lasts. But I also hope his ex-girlfriend finds true love, and I’ll fix you up if he doesn’t.”

Though never confirmed, reports circulated last year that Theroux’s relationship with Aniston, whom he met on the set of Wanderlust, blossomed while he was still with Bivens.

Bivens confirmed she moved out of the home she shared with Theroux in July.

Aniston and Theroux got engaged on Fri., Aug. 10, at Blue Hill restaurant in Manhattan, after dating for more than a year.

Stanger, meanwhile, is surely celebrating the success of Millionaire Matchmaker: the show’s season premiere debuted Thursday to the tune of 1.4 million viewers. That makes it Stanger’s highest-rated season opening in the show’s history.
