| Jay-Z: I’m Paranoid Of ‘Not Being a Great Dad’ To Daughter Blue Ivy Posted: 01 Jul 2013 11:20 AM PDT  Those In the latest installment, the husband of Beyonce voices his concerns in regards to raising his daughter, Blue Ivy, properly while making a new track titled “Jay-Z Blue.” Though the rapper gushes that and Beyonce “still marvel at her” everyday, the father-of-one is worried about not being there for this baby girl. “It deals with [the fact that] my pop left when I was young. He didn’t teach me how to be a man nor how to raise a child — or treat a woman,” Jay-Z tells producer pal Rick Rubin of the song. “The two things I need, I don’t have … and I have a daughter. It’s [about] the paranoia of not being a great dad.” And the lyrics certainly reflects that sense of worry. | Aww, Pink’s Daughter Willow Appears In Her New Music Video And Is Adorable Posted: 01 Jul 2013 12:34 PM PDT  Pink‘s latest video is a family affair! The 33-year-old songstress just released the video for her song with Lily Allen, “True Love,” and it features cameos from her motocross hubby Carey Hart and her cutie patootie 2-year-old daughter, Willow Sage. Little Willow (in pigtails) makes appearances throughout the sweet video — she’s shown playing with her toys, dancing around, and putting lipstick on her mommy. The whole family rides around on bikes together in the clip, too, as images like hearts, fireworks, and stars flash in the background. It’s pretty lovey dovey a tad bit mushy, but we dare you not to break a smile. A knife-wielding, vegetable cutting Lily Allen also shows up, as she lent her vocals to the track. Pink has had her share of chart-toppers this year, and now she’s trying her hand at acting. The “Just Give Me a Reason” crooner plays a sex addict alongside big screen vets Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming film, Thanks For Sharing. Henry Cavill, the star of Man of Steel and one or two of your sex dreams probably, is “a massive Big Bang Theory fan.” This is, of course, according to a source familiar with the network television-watching habits of the 30-year-old actor. Henry Cavill can’t wait for Thursday nights to curl up in front of his TV and watch CBS’ primetime programming. Henry Cavill loves that Barenaked Ladies song and just gets so excited every year when Jim Parsons wins another Emmy. Henry Cavill was over the moon (get it?) when Howard Wolowitz got to go to space. He can’t help but laugh every time Sheldon does his “famous” “knocking on a door before saying the name of [the person] whom he’s addressing, repeating this three times” sight gag. That’s because the former Disney darling has overcome more than most 20 year olds: she has bounced back from cutting, cocaine abuse, and being the victim of teen bullying. But it’s triumphing over those battles that has made Lovato, in her own words, a true badass. “If you’re spending your entire early 20s chasing the next party, what are you running away from? That’s not a badass,” she tells Cosmopolitan, covering the glossy’s August 2013 cover. “What’s a badass is when you can sit through your problems and feel emotions when you don’t want to have them.” “There have been nights where I’ve had to sit on my hands, because I want to act out, because I physically can’t sit still in the pain I’m dealing with, from looking back and being bullied or other things that happened,” she continues. “And now, as hard as it may be, I will do that. That’s what makes me a badass. Being a badass is handling your shit.” But “badass” is not what Lovato sees in most of her Hollywood contemporaries. “When I look at someone who’s out there partying excessively or rappers rapping about doing drugs, who people look up to, and think, ‘Oh that’s a G; that’s a gangster.’ I think, ‘You’re actually being a giant pussy,’” she says. ” Sorry, but those rockers in the ’80s were the furthest thing from rock stars. They were so insecure and so lonely that they had to do these things to get them through the day.” Though her past was trying, Lovato wouldn’t trade those tribulations because they shaped who she is today. “I’m not super religious, but I grew up Christian and I believe in God,” she explains. “He put me through those things, which seemed horrible at the time, but they were so worth it. With the obstacles I’ve overcome, I can help people.” Now as she readies to ring in her 21st birthday in August, Lovato is thankful. “I look at birthdays as celebrating another year of life,” the X Factor judge says. “You’ve made it another year. | Jennifer Lawrence Wore This in Paris Today And Now I’m Confused Posted: 01 Jul 2013 08:23 AM PDT  Not that I know anything about fashion (right now I’m wearing the same linen shirt I always wear every other Monday), but I’m pretty sure whatever it was that Jennifer Lawrence wore to Monday’s Christian Dior Fashion Show in Paris was wrong. Or at the very least, confusing. The top was pink and lace, and it cut off at an angle not seen since that time I took Home-Ec in the seventh grade. The bottom, meanwhile, can only be described as a half-pant, half-skirt combination depending on the angle you’re looking at. In all my years of flipping through my sister’s Delia’s catalouges at the breakfast table, I’ve never seen anything like this before. But hey, maybe this is what’s in right now. The Academy Award-winning actress stars in the Jimmy Choo’s Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign. The photos series, shot by famed fashion shutterbug Mikael Jansson, sees Kidman transformed with a tousled red wig as she poses alongside sophisticated sports cars and lounges on luxe leather couches. The campaign captures the Australian beauty as a “seductive protagonist,” drawing on “Hitchcock's empowered heroines” and embodying the “feminine power, luxury, and sexiness evoked by the collection,” according to the brand’s website. “I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was strong, sexy and in control,” Kidman said in a statement. “I got into a relationship with the photographer and Mikael is very intuitive, he knows what I am thinking and feeling and is able to translate it through the camera.” Kidman, who has previously mugged for Chanel No.5 and Omega watches campaigns, just finished filming her lead role as the iconic Grace Kelly in the upcoming biopic, Grace Of Monaco, which is set to hit theaters early next year. | Ruben Studdard Will Compete on ‘The Biggest Loser’ Posted: 01 Jul 2013 06:55 AM PDT  American Idol winner Ruben Studdard will return to the drones of reality television this fall as a contestant on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, PEOPLE confirmed on Monday. According to the report, Studdard’s weight-loss battle took a turn for the worse in 2002 after the so-called “Velvet Teddy Bear” divorced his wife, Surata Zuri McCants, in 2012. That’s pretty much all the report gives us. In fact, it’s mostly just recycled quotes from an interview he gave back in 2006. Annoying! But, hey, it’s still happening. Since winning American Idol in 2003, Studdard has released five studio albums. His first sold 1.8 million copies; his most recent, 2012′s Letters From Birmingham, sold 9,000. So, yeah. |
| Farrah Abraham Is Headed to Rehab Posted: 01 Jul 2013 07:27 AM PDT  Farrah Abraham, a human who is famous for literally having never made a good choice in her entire life, is finally doing a smart thing and going to rehab. The 22 year old, who has already managed to fit a teen pregnancy, two boob jobs, a DUI and a sex tape into her short career as a trainwreck, is reportedly seeking treatment for alcohol abuse in Florida. “At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life,” Abraham told Radaronline. Keep in mind a DUI can not “cause” any “negative,” but rather the decision to drink and drive can. Abraham will be receiving 10 days of outpatient treatment at The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She’ll be accompanied by a sober companion at all hours, but free to come and go. Farrah’s four-year-old daughter will be staying with grandpa during mommy’s rehab vacation. Abraham received her DUI back in March. She was put on six months probation and ordered to complete an alcohol education course. According to Radaronline, she did complete the course, but was a royal jackass the entire time. She “had difficulty making eye contact, was standoffish and was sarcastic when answering the questions asked of her,” according to an assessment written following Abraham’s course. That same document also states that she “does meet the … criteria for substance abuse.” It recommends she complete a 60 hour outpatient treatment program. “I’m 22 and I want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time,” Abraham said about her rehab stay. | Jennifer Lopez Is Sorry for Serenading the Turkmenistan Leader Posted: 01 Jul 2013 06:52 AM PDT  Jennifer Lopez is feeling sorry after she sparked outrage for singing “Happy Birthday” to the controversial leader of Turkmenistan during a show in the former Soviet bloc country on Saturday. While performing at a non-political event hosted by the China National Petroleum Corp, the “Live It Up” singer serenaded dictator Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has been widely criticized for his oppressive rule by organizations like Human Rights Watch. Now Lopez is apologizing, after the non-profit Human Rights Foundation heavily criticized her appearance at the celebration. The former American Idol judge’s said would not have attended at all had she been aware of the human rights issues in Turkic state, according to the Associated Press. The statement said the birthday serenade was a last-minute request, to which Lopez “graciously obliged.” So this won’t go down in history as her Marilyn Monroe moment. |

Both Jessica Simpson and Flipping Out star Jenni Pulos gave birth over the weekend. Simpson welcomed her second child, a boy, and named him Ace Knute Johnson. Pulos had a baby girl and named her Alianna Marika Nassos. Congratulations to both moms and good luck with the little ones! Lady Gaga brought her support and voice to the 2013 NYC Gay Pride Kick-Off Rally. Lady Gaga surprised the crowd on the first night of the 2013 New York City Gay Pride Festival. Not only did she make her Little Monsters feel as if they had attained her level of star power, but she sang a very special rendition of our National Anthem. Happy Endings has officially, and much to our chagrin, ended. There was a shred of hope for the comedy after ABC cancelled it in May, especially with Cougar Town accomplishing a similar feat. Alas, Sony Pictures Television, the studio which produced Happy Endings, ran out of time and lost its cast due to expiring contracts. Hulk Hogan’s daughter finds love and an engagement ring in Las Vegas. Reality TV Star and sometimes singer Brooke Hogan took to Instagram on Saturday and let the world know that she was engaged. Her brand new fiancé is Phil Costa, who happens to be a Center for the Dallas Cowboy’s. I’ve decided that Director Guillermo del Toro is mad man and should be celebrated for the amazing ideas that live inside his brain. Armie Hammer has been bringing out his inner child on the set of The Lone Ranger, says his young co-star, Bryant Prince. Prince, who plays the actor’s nephew in Disney’s upcoming western action-adventure, told Celebuzz that the two would keep busy with laughs. “We joked around all the time. I mean, we would have fun all the time, they called us the ‘little kids’ because he would just joke around all the time,” said Prince. Good laughs and a relatable sense of humor can make a lasting impression, but Prince seemed most appreciative by how kind Hammer was. “He was just so nice and you don’t meet many guys that are so, so nice,” Prince said.
